We booked it on the train from NYC to Philly - very short notice - and it was the best thing we could’ve done for being in town for only a day! Tom was very informative, funny, personable and kind - great guide. When the tour ended, we asked about his opinion for the best Philly cheesesteak sandy and he pointed us toward a couple and we chose Sonny’s - omg the best!! The walking tour did not include entry to Independence Hall (only the exterior). I highly recommend planning ahead and buying tickets to the hallowed hall, something every American should visit. It had its own kind of a powerful moment. The park ranger that gave that tour was also incredibly informative and interesting as well. If you do have an advanced ticket, keep in mind the security screening which took an extra 20-30 min in line. The meeting place for the Founding Fathers Walking Tour started right next to Independence Hall which was also very convenient. We bought 9:2 tickets for the Hall, started the walking tour at 10:30 which ended 1ish, then grabbed lunch and went back to the Revolutionary museum for a cpl hours before catching the subway back to the Amtrak station where we hopped on the train back to Penn Station in NYC. Was a perfect day in an amazing city. It was our first visit and the schedule worked out well.

Thomas was professional, polite, and made the tour fun, even on a bitterly cold afternoon. I’ve lived near Philly most of my life, and I learned more about the City’s history in 3 hours than I have ever before. This tour is great for tourists and residents alike.

My tour guide was super knowledgeable and funny too. I really liked the flow of the tours and the order of the stops we made! Great tour! Highly recommend!

This tour hits the places that you want to go when doing an Historic Philadelphia tour. Marty, our tour guide, was very knowledgable, walked at a good pace, and happily answered all our questions. Do this tour if you want an excellent tour of Historic Philadelphia!

My sister, brother-in-law, husband and I took this afternoon tour with Rick, our guide, on October 20, 2023. We ‘lucked out’ with the weather, and experienced our FIRST wonderful visit to Philadelphia via this excellent tour! We only had one afternoon and evening in town before heading to Delaware for a wedding, AND RICK, AND THIS TOUR CONVINCED US WE MUST RETURN! Despite what we learned in high school and college textbooks, Rick showed us how much richer the stories of our past truly are, and most especially, the characters of the people who risked Everything to establish our nation! I should add, my brother-in-law is English (a Red Coat!!) and he enjoyed the tour as much as the rest of us Yanks. THANK YOU, RICK!!

Booked Founding Fathers Tour but got the Philadelphia History, Highlights, and Revolution Tour. I verified that I was billed for the Founding Father's Tour but the guide assured me that She was the guide for the Philadelphia History, Highlights, and Revolution Tour. It was confusing because the initial meeting spot for both was the signer's garden and they started at the same time. But only one tour guide showed up. So I guess I was put in a different tour by Viator. The tour itself focused on William Penn and Ben Franklin. I wish there had been more about the other Founders. Also it didn't seem very patriotic to me and I was hoping for that. We had lots of time where I thought the tour guide should have been giving us information but she was silent. So I was also disappointed with the level of detail about the stops we made. I am not sure how the Founding Father's tour would be. Maybe it's better.

David was a great tour guide! He was informative and gave many suggestions for after the tour. American history should be knowledge that everyone should know and be appreciative to our past heros.

Guide was very knowledgeable. Walked around to see outside of buildings and a view of the Liberty Bell through a dirty window. But it did keep us from standing in a line to see it, so that was a plus. We spent far too much time watching a video about and seeing George Washington's tent. Overall, a disappointing history tour of a very historic city.
