Go and see this. It doesn't matter your age or your interest in art. It is spectacular. It is thrilling. Just go and experience it.

The 4 immersive experiences were really good, my preference was in the order of rooms the last being the one I liked least. Staff were not particularly friendly, particularly on entry which was a shame.

Absolutely stunning. Can’t recommend this experience enough, it’s unique and will leave a long lasting impression for life. So clever and impressive with each gallery having its own special feel and theme. We weren’t sure how long it would take and how it was organised but that too is seamless. Each gallery has a rolling programme that you join at any time and leave at any time, it tells you before you go in how long the programme lasts and if you do all four galleries one after the other it takes 90 minutes. We revisited our favourite gallery (Colours in motion) a second time! There are no queues to worry about and there are seats in the galleries or portable seats available for the less mobile. Staff are super helpful and the cafe is lovely. Can’t fault this place, go and see for yourselves, you won’t be disappointed.

Overall it's interesting, but from the advertising we expected a walk-through immersive experience, not four separate rooms which were essentially entirely static. You sit on the floor, or on a bench and that's it. The first room (Dali, Bosch etc.) was really dull - music that didn't match, the ceiling wasn't a screen, just a few mirrors with lots of distracting bits of tech kit (that could easily have been clad in mirrored vinyl) - plus the colours were so muted. All the photos make it look like a vivid display - it really wasn't. The most interesting part of this room was to just look down into the mirrored parts of the floor - we were very disappointed and almost didn't bother with the other rooms based on it. The second room (Turner, Van Gogh etc.) was much more interesting, because the screen was also on the ceiling, as we had expected, and the images were moving in a much more dynamic and story-telling way - the shipwreck was probably the highlight of the whole event. The colours were still quite muted however - I don't know if they didn't have access to high res images or something is wrong with their projection equipment. The third room (Kandinsky, abstract etc.) was just a series of panels in a very small space - which did create an interesting effect looking through them, but walking around it took minimal time and again, the ceiling and floor weren't really treated. The final room, which has sensors so you can't take drinks in, was actually the most fun. You could run across the room and have the leaves scatter, which everyone enjoyed. Still not mind-blowing - none of it was sadly - but definitely fun and kids would love it (we went to the adult lates). So if you have the time great, and overall we did enjoy - but it wasn't up to the promise of all these wow pictures that have clearly had their saturation/vibrancy amped up. We saw a lot of people, especially in the first room, just sitting on the floor looking at their phones - says a lot really. It's very instagrammable (esp because you can turn the saturation up) but then that's not really what an immersive experience should be about! Better in the telling after than the being there.

We loved this exhibition - we're two adults, and two young teens (boys). It was definitely worth going to, and fun for all ages.
