What to expect

1

Normandy

The journey will start in the heart of Paris. On the air-conditioned bus that will transport you to the locations, your guide will ride along with you. Along the walk, the guide will share fascinating World War II anecdotes with you. Please feel free to pique your interest by posing inquiries to the guide. Your first destination will be at Utah Beach. Here, you may see an authentic B-26 aircraft as well as letters from soldiers and other items that reveal a lot about the horrible experiences they underwent. Enjoy Normandy's apple orchards. You'll even have the chance to explore a 17th-century barn and sample some Calvados, a type of apple brandy. After that, there will be a 2-course lunch at a nearby restaurant. One of the most stunning places on the journey is without a doubt Ponte du Hoc. It's amazing to see the enormous cliffs that tower above the English Channel. You'll end up at the American Cemetery.
