Pico do Arieiro
At 1,818 metres above sea level, Pico do Areeiro is the third highest point on the island of Madeira. From this elevated location, the view is so vast that it allows observers to gaze out over the unique grandeur of the Madeira Mountain Range, with the Atlantic Ocean in the background.
Poiso
With a total length of 4.09 km, it provides Travelers with an immersive experience in the mountainous landscape of the south coast of the island of Madeira.
Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio
Vereda dos Balcões is a small trail, 1.5 km long (+ 1.5 km return), which takes you to enjoy the views from Miradouro dos Balcões. Starting on Estrada Regional no. 103, in Ribeiro Frio, this easy trail, with an estimated duration of 1h30, follows the Levada da Serra do Faial. On the route along Vereda dos Balcões you will have the opportunity to come across Madeira's indigenous and endemic species, which offer different shades of green to the Laurissilva forest. During the walk, pay attention to the tree species of the Lauraceae family and the exotic species that are distributed along the trail's banks.

Santana
The “little houses of Santana” have become icons widely known nationally (and beyond) for the peculiar beauty of their architectural style. With a triangular shape and covered in thatch, they are the greatest symbol of this municipality on the north coast of the island of Madeira. In fact, these typical houses are a reflection of the isolation of this location, which for a long time was difficult to access by land and sea. The preservation of unique cultural traits, as a result of this contingency, has become a heritage of enormous value for this municipality, which currently has around 8800 inhabitants.
Miradouro do guindaste
ocated on one of the slopes of the mouth of Ribeira do Faial, in the municipality of Santana, the Guindaste viewpoint offers a stunning view over the coastal line of the north coast of Madeira. It is the ideal place to admire the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean that bathes the island.
Ponta de Sao Lourenco
Ponta de São Lourenço is the long peninsula that forms the eastern tip of the island of Madeira, east of the town of Caniçal. It ends at Farol Island.
Miradouro do Cristo Rei do Garajau
Last stop at Cristo Rei, with a statue dating back to 1921, and with a stunning view over the Atlantic and the coast of Madeira Island.
Praia Formosa
We meet at the free Praia car park.
