Fife Coastal Route

(Pass by)

A wonderful interactive tour around the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, an area otherwise known as a 'Strip of Gold on a Beggar's Mantle'. We'll take you on a journey through the lovely rich agricultural landscape, along small lanes and roads off the beaten track, where the large tour buses cannot go. You'll visit some of the most beautiful and charming villages in Scotland and we stop frequently on route to ensure you have a good opportunity to absorb the magical charm of the area. The treasures of Fife await you at almost every corner with each village having its own individual character and charm. A tour of delight awaits you.

Anstruther Harbour

Anstruther is another very old fishing village with a large harbour giving it a completely different character to Crail. It is vibrant and full of life at weekends and holiday periods partly due to locals visiting and eating the local delicacy (Fish and Chips). It's history is built on the fishing industry but nowadays the harbour is full of fishing boats and leisure craft and the harbour is surrounded by delightful little shops and cafes.

Crail Harbour

The village of Crail is one of the oldest established fishing villages in Scotland. It is an utterly quaint and charming place, full of mystique. We stop here for a short while to explore and enjoy.

Kingsbarns

(Pass by)

Kingsbarns is known today mostly because of it's golf course (ranked among the top golf courses in the world). However this quaint little village has much history and charm to offer.

Elie Beach

Elie is one of the many fishing villages we visit on this tour and it is special because of it's shallow bay and beautiful beach which is regularly used as a Cricket field at low tide

Pittenweem Harbour

Another intriguing and fabulous location not to be missed in Scotland is the village of Pittenweem. This is one of the main fishing villages here in the county of Fife. It is full of history and charm with a completely different look and feel to all the other villages.

St Monans

One of the oldest and most charming churches in the country lies at the heart of this fishing village which has a history in ship building.

Stirling Castle

The main attraction of this tour is a visit to the ancient capital of Scotland and the dominant Castle which sits on top of the highest point in the area where you can see the battlegrounds of independence, the River Forth, the Wallace Monument and the mountains of the Scottish Highlands etc.
