Not recommended for participants with poor cardiovascular health
Participants should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Sports or trekking shoes (with a good grip) are mandatory and will be checked by the guide before starting the excursion. During our routes, we recommend mountain clothing or sports clothing.
In the period from April to September, rainfall is low, the temperature even in the highest part of the mountains is around 22 degrees, reaching up to 26 degrees in June, July and August. The T-shirt usually fits us well, but it is always good to wear long-sleeved clothing.
The months of October to March are a variable period of time and more frequent rains (we always try to avoid carrying out our excursions during rainy days, but sometimes the weather can surprise us). It is recommended (during the mandatory cold days) warm clothing with long sleeves (pants, polartec) and a waterproof jacket that can work perfectly as a windbreaker.
In case of force majeure that prevents the excursion from continuing or endangers the health or life of the excursion participants (weather conditions, etc.), the organizer reserves the right to modify the route or change it to another / another date, or cancel it.
Recommended minimum age for children: 8 years.
Considering that our lunch at the restaurant will be around 3:30 p.m. and your own way of eating, you can bring a light meal on your own, for example (fruits, energy bars, almonds, cookies, etc.). sandwich etc)

Maciej was so friendly and knowledgeable about the island and the walk itself was great. An email the day before provided us with a pick up time from the hotel and Maciej was right on time. A lovely mixed nationality small group of us headed into the mountains. It was chilly when we got up there and I was pleased to be wearing longer trousers and a long sleeve running top- I didn't feel overheated the entire day. Let me prefix this by saying my partner and I are not particularly fit- we have been on long flat walks before but after spur of the moment booking I definitely worried I wouldn't be fit enough. I shouldn't have worried at all! Maciej has a great knack for stopping at a scenic point every couple of minutes or so (depending on the terrain) to get your breath back. The views are outstanding, made any challenging parts more then worth the effort and on the day we walked you could see Tenerife! Watching the clouds roll in across the north of Gran Canaria is truly breathtaking. Take snacks as there's a couple of break spots and water is important- we took around 1.5l between us. We headed (by car, thankfully) to the nearby village of Fataga and ate a light 3 course meal at around 1500 which was welcome and the fish particularly was delicious. Really enjoyed our day out and would (and have while we're still here) recommend, thanks Maciej! Enjoy Kilimanjaro!

If you like nice walk in the wood and to see Grand Canaria from above this hike is for you. Maciej is a very good tour guide with lots of good energy. I was picked up on time and the hiking was easy to medium difficulty going through the pines forest to the second highest pick of the island. The lunch after the hiking at the local village on the way back was really decent with lots of food choices. All in all very good value for money and excellent experience!

The whole day out from start to finish ran like clockwork. During the walk Maciej was careful to ensure that we went at a pace that suited all of the group with frequent stops to provide information about our surroundings. Afterwards lunch, which was good was in a local restaurant which was included in the price. A great day out, well worth the money. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely sign up again the next time we are in the area.

Had such a good trip with Maciej and the gang. From start to finish, everything was great. He communicated well and confirmed the pick up time the day before. I loved the drive up into the mountains and the bus was clean and comfortable. The trek itself was not too difficult, and he ensured he went at a reasonable pace to suit everyone, ensuring we had sufficient breaks between and time for a drink and had to 20 minute breaks in between walking. The views were spectacular and we were so lucky with the weather. He was friendly and charming throughout, telling jokes and stories along the way. Was nice to meet others also on the trip and get to know them as it was just a group of 9 in total. We finished off with a meal in a local restaurant which was superb and delicious, with plenty of choice for everybody. All in all, it was fantastic, great value for money and would recommend 😁

2 Hiking Trips with Maciej, Rainforest and Peaks of Gran Canaria. He is an excellent guide with a great knowledge on the area and habitat of Gran Canaria, he is also a good storyteller with a good sense of humour. Excellent two days out hiking finished with lovely food and drink out at restaurants included in the price of the ticket. Lovely to travel in small groups, 8 on our first day and 5 on the second. So much nicer than a larger group would have been, it was also nice to have conversation with others travelling in the group. We have lovely photos and memories from this trip, thank you Maciej.

I had some issues with transportation and the guide was super helpful through the whole process! View was gorgeous, and we learned a lot of interesting fun facts. Very good vibes :) Food and drinks were also delicious. Would definitely do it again and recommend it!
