Petersen Automotive Museum
Come see the world's largest auto museum. The collection of automobiles ranges from the time man started to use mechanized machinery for transportation to this era of the fastest and most expensive cars on the planet. The museum boasts of more than 600 cars spread over several floors on Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles.

For art enthusiasts, you will feel at home in this museum which is the largest art museum on the west coast. Among the biggest attractions is the Levitated Mass, a kind of giant rock or sculpture, weighing 340 tonnes that sits above a 456-foot viewing pathway to accommodate 360 degree viewing. The sculpture by Michael Heizer, was transported from the Jurupa mountains quarry, in the southeastern Pomona Valley, Southern California in 2012. Other attractions include a gallery dedicated to Picasso paintings, Urban light , a collection of old vintage street lights, a three story exhibit at the museum entrance, Andy Warhol's paintings and a section dedicated to the history of surfing in California.
