Parque Eduardo VII

This largest central park in Lisbon stretches uphill from Marquês de Pombal Square to a viewing platform to the top that offers sweeping view over Praça Marquês do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and the River Tejo. It houses the Estufa Fria greenhouse where houses various tropical plants, cacti and other exotic plants.

Lisbon Baixa

The most central and renowned neighbour in the historic center where you will visit Avenida da Liberdade (the grand boulevard and location for designer brands, boutiques, restaurants and hotel), Restauradores Square, the liveliest Rossio Square, Praça da Figueira and Praça do Comércio, Elevador de Santa Justa, etc.

Alfama is the charismatic fado district in the historic center with a delightful maze of yellow cobbled streets, steep hills from Baixa to the Castelo de Sao Jorge. Some places are best to be visited on foot.

In Belem, west of Lisbon, you will see the majestic Mosteiro dos Jerónimo which took almost a hundred year to complete, and where the famous explorer Vasco da Gama and celebrated poet Luís de Camões were buried; you will visit the iconic Torre de Belém which in the past was a fort guarding the Tejo Estuary and now a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983; the Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument located along the river and marina to celebrate the Portuguese Age of Discovery. One thing not to miss is the world-famous Pastel da Nata (Portuguese Egg Custard Tart).
