My wife and I have been wanting to visit Pompeii for quite a while and so this summer we decided to fly to Italy for a cultural trip. We stayed in Castellammare di Stabia and met the very nice Maurizio. The next day he accompanied us with an unusual bus to Pompeii and to the villas of ancient Stabiae. Our guide was Alfredo, an extremely knowledgable young archaeologist and art historian who, with his perfect English, revived the atmosphere and customs of ancient Pompeii. We advise everyone to rely on Sesto Continente and to ask for Alfredo certainly the best existing guide to visit Pompeii.
