    My wife and I just completed a private all-day tour of the Lake District with Mountain Goat Tours. Our guide, John S., could not have been better! He was full of information and enthusiasm for the entire area, having climbed most all of the mountains we saw. He was pleasant and an absolute font of information. 5 Stars all around. We enjoyed the day so much, we are already planning a return trip. Next time we hope to do a longer 2-3 stay in the area. Hopefully, John S. will be available again.

    David was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We had a wonderful day visiting sites in the Lake District. David has deep experience and knowledge of the area and its history.     David is a spectacular guide who is so friendly and funny. He's very accommodative too. My parents and I had a wonderful time going around the Lake District. The car was comfortable and we got very lucky with the weather as it was sunny when David drove us up to a fantastic view for photos. We also thank him a lot for introducing us to Grasmere Gingerbread - we went back the next day just to get more. Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommend David for a private tour of the Lake District!
