Ballandean Estate is the oldest winery in the Granite Belt. Established in 1932, 5 generations of the Puglisi family have made the business what it is today. Our wine tasting will take place in a private room with a selection of 7 wines with a cheese board to match. After the tasting, a picnic basket is provided filled with fresh local seasonal produce. Wander out to the vineyard where you can settle in amongst the vines for a leisurely lunch. The barrel room at Symphony Hills is certainly a great environment to savour the wine, Fairy lights provide a whimsical feel and soft music is played as you begin an incredible journey of exploring the wine. Opening a bottle of something special for our guests to try which is not available to the general public is a wonderful experience to offer as well

You are welcomed into a private presentation area at Summit Estate Winery for a personalised wine education session. With this intimate winery experience you will have an opportunity to identify the aromas and flavours that are found in Summit Estate wines. If you are looking for a wine trip out of Toowoomba this is a treat Very well organised Fiona has great insights into the local region and good connections to the wineries. Her selections were first class, and really opened my eyes into the granite belt wine making scene. The added challenge was we visited in a public holiday with half the wineries closed!!!! Insights and knowledge of the region was a real bonus.

Fiona was well organised, had a great knowledge of the area, prompt, made it a funny day, took us to some awesome wineries and a beautiful restaurant for lunch. Fabulous! Fiona took us to 4 wineries in the Stanthorpe area. Fiona, being from the area, answered any questions we had on the way from Toowoomba to the wineries. All the wineries were great, both the wine and the service. At Ballandean and Kominos we were greeted and enchanted by the families who owned the winery. They all knew Fiona, who was relaxed but kept things moving. All in all all a wonderful day trip that we recommend to all. Thanks, Fiona!
