We had a fantastic time on this tour. We actually missed the initial meeting with the van because of extra heavy traffic and met it out in Cascais. Our guide was fantastic and kept in touch with us the whole time so meeting the van at the other location was easy. Her knowledge of the history of everything is fantastic and she’s very passionate about sharing with the guests. She walked us up to the castles and even held our place in line so we would walk around the exterior and spend more time enjoying the experience. Castle entrance is not included with this package, but we went inside the Pena palace and also the Regaleira castle. We enjoyed going through both of them and also loved the grounds at both places. This tour is a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time and our guide was absolutely fantastic!

This trip was best ever. Our guide Maria was good drives and gave so much information. In one day we saw Sintra and Cascais. Only surprise was the hard climbing to Pena palace. Just later knew that there is A small bus for the last path. Recomned that if leg problems.

Maria was fabulous! Super knowledgeable and well organized. Weather was a bit wet but it didn't spoil the trip at all. Had the best time walking in sintra garden and learning the history on the castle. Cascais was delightful and we had a lovely lunch there. 11/10! Thanks for your amazing guide Maria!

I never write reviews however this one has merit to do so. 3 key places to visit but with sufficient time in a small group :) This was not my first time visiting these places but this time with my 82 year old mom. Maria was not only knowledgeable but also kind and sweet. It rained for a bit while visiting palacio da pena. She was waiting for us with umbrellas and even had coffee and tea in her van.
