Devon is a fantastic tour guide, we were able to experience a number of difference hikes and see places that were “off the beaten path.” His knowledge of the area and passion for all things in nature and marine biology were evident and added so much to the experience. Would highly recommend this tour!!

We were very excited to begin our tour and ready to hike to see the sites. Our tour guide, Rich, provided us with a lot of background on his education, family, and experiences as a tour guide and naturalist. We were expecting to walk and hike about 4 to 6 miles to see the sites of Acadia. We started our small group tour at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. Next, we stopped at Wild Gardens of Acadia. We stopped at a viewpoint along the loop road for a photo opportunity and then parked at the entrance to the closed Precipice Trail. Then a drive to Sand Beach and at this point we were given time to walk around the beach area. Then we drove to Thunder Hole for another photo opportunity. We left Thunder Hole and drove to Jordan Pond where we had a chance to walk around the entrance area and use the restroom. Next, we drove to lunch at The Travelin Lobster stand and ordered food to go. We drove a mile away and ate our lunch at a picnic area. Our last stop was Cadillac Mountain. Unfortunately, our guide had a parking pass for a different date and we could not enter. We drove away and he made some phone calls but could not get a pass, so we began driving to try to get better service to make a contact to get a pass. While waiting, another member of the group was able to use her phone to purchase a parking pass. When we went to Cadillac Mountain, we asked to walk the half mile path around the top and our guide checked with the group to let us take that time. This ended our tour and we expected to drive back to Bar Harbor but our guide drove us a scenic route with a few of the tour group falling asleep in the van. Overall, this tour would have been excellent if we were expecting to stop and sight see and drive around with a group. Unfortunately, we were expecting to walk or hike about 4 to 6 miles and see the sites. We were disappointed in the way the tour was described and felt that this tour was better suited for travelers who do not want to walk or hike to see sites.

Our tour guide Rich is a history buff and birding expert and is so knowledgeable about the history of Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Seal Harbor, etc. and shared so many fascinating facts about the area. He guided us effortlessly around Acadia National Park in his comfortable van and took us on hikes that had absolutely stunning views!

Devon was an amazing tour guide. He told us about the history of Acadia National Park. He also told us about the geological formation. He had a great combination of "can't miss" spots and "off the beaten path" ones. Devon is personable, warm, funny, knowledgeable, caring and an excellent tour guide. A lady in our tour said that she felt that he was her personal trainer as well. As he gently pushed her to exercise a bit more than she is used to. He asked us if we wanted to taste sea truffles, which he picked. It was an interesting flavor. Highly recommend this tour and tour guide. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was an amazing experience. We toured and hiked throughout Acadia National Park. Our tour guide, Devon, was knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. I don’t know if my other review got posted but it bears repeating.

He took us to some very scenic places on and off the beaten path. I am so glad I toured with him to see the park. It was an unforgettable experience and the highlight of my trip to Maine.

This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Our guide Devon was terrific! He showed us the better known spots and the lesser known spots which were amazing! Devon is so nice and very knowledgeable of the area. It’s so nice to actually learn something when visiting an area. He told us about the local history of the towns and the natural history of the park. We stopped at a perfect picnic spot and Devon even had a nice tablecloth for the table. Definitely don’t miss doing this tour!

We had so much fun on our Acadia tour. We were so lucky to have Devon as our guide because he is the best! Devon is so knowledgeable about the park. There is no way we could ever have seen so much on our own. We learned so much about the parks history, vegetation, geology and wildlife. Devon took us on some really cool hikes in different parts of the park. Before our trip we were sent a little form about our activity level. Devon really paid attention and everything was perfect!! We went to the best picnic area and Devon even had a tablecloth for the table! Having the right guide can make a huge difference on your trip experience. We will always remember this trip as one of the best!

It rained hard all day and was cloudy. The guide helped us to get to places hat were suitable for the weather, which we would not have been able to do ourselves.
