Had a great experience with Gold Beach company. We selected their US D-Day tour. They were very responsive over their customer service portal and maintained great communication with us. We were the last tour of the Fall 2023 season and our tour guide was Eliza. She was great! She had a lot of knowledge to share with us. I appreciated all her stories, and her binder with photos pertinent to the tour. She changed the schedule around to get us a better experience. For example, she prioritized us getting to the American Cemetery in order to see the flag ceremony in time. She also called the American Cemetery early in the day to get a special visit arranged for us since my husband had a family member buried there. We didn’t know this was possible and really appreciated her going above and beyond to arrange this experience for us. The staff took us to the plot by golf cart and we noticed that this section was closed to the public. If it wasn’t for Eliza, we wouldn’t have gotten to see the tombstone. She did a great job of keeping us on schedule and delivering on everything the tour promised. Highly recommend booking a tour with Eliza if possible!

Matt was an EXCELLENT guide, very knowledgeable and willing to answer every question related to D Day and the tour. He even took us to an extra location during the tour. If you’re looking to “cover” D-Day in a one day tour, this is the perfect one to do. We took the train in from Paris (first one in the morning), took the tour (ended around 5:15pm), had time to sight see in Bayeux (tapestry and cathedral), had dinner and made it back on the last train back to Paris. Would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends looking to tour Normandy and the D-Day locations.

Our tour guide (Alex) was incredible. Fantastic knowledge of everywhere, gave so many fascinating stories. A truly memorable experience.

Alex was a great guide and told us so much info and shared some great stories. His personality was positive and energetic. Would absolutley use him again I Would reccomend doing a 2 day tour if you really want to get immersed as we felt like there was not enough time to see all we wanted to. We would have loved to see the Utah museum and visitor center with more time and the cemetery walk longer. Taps was amazing and the WN 69 best view in the country, to us.

Powerful experience! Small 7 person group in a mini-van. Plenty of hop out and in opportunities. Extremely knowledgeable guide. Not only major stops and sights, but smaller details and insights as well. Timed to be at American Omaha Cemetery for flag-lowering and Taps. Gold Beach Tours with Alex. Only minor critique--a bit more time to shop, otherwise fantastic!

We had a wonderful tour with Marie. She spoke wonderful English and was very personable and knowledgeable about everything we saw and asked about. We had a 15 and 18 year old with us and they really enjoyed the tour. It was a great tour and Marie was great!

Kate was absolutely wonderful! She was caring and concerned to make sure everyone in the group had what they needed and they everyone was doing fine throughout the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and is certified to be a tour guide and truly loves the information she presents. We were able to visit so many places from Utah Beach, Pointe Du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and Sainte-Mere-Eglise. Wonderful tour and Kate was amazing!
