Wonderful trip! Very interesting demonstration at the tile museum. Beautiful views of the coast along the way to Setubal. The highlight of the trip was Evora and the stork nests along the way. Antonio was a wonderful guide.

I had originally been most interested in getting to Evora but the rest of the day was as good or better than that. Antonio is a wonderful and patient host and takes you to places you would never see on your own. We enjoyed each stop- the small tile factory where we gained a new appreciation for the craftsmanship of tile art to the morning break where we had our first taste of sheep’s cheese and pumpkin jam along with pastry.. to the amazing fish market and wonderful lunch place. Of course seeing the ruins of the temple in Evora was cool too. Most of all, Antonio goes above and beyond to help with restaurant recommendations, where to see fado, and much more. Don’t hesitate to book with him! We actually canceled our previously scheduled tour to Sintra with another group so we can go with him tomorrow.

The 4 days that we stayed with our tour guide Antonio Meneses from Lisbon was a superb experience . Very knowledgeable, patient , dependable person

This tour was our favorite of all the tputs we booked whole staying in Lisbon. Antonio was our guide as he was on two others . Our guide made sure we were well caffeinated as we stopped for espresso before going to a factory where hand painted tiles are made. Very informative demonstration at the family owned firm. You are able to purchase some that can be shipped home as well. The ones backed in cork make great gifts as trivets After that we drove to the coast for some magnificent views then to the Setubal market. We had a great lunch with Antonio at a local spot. Then we were off to Evora, but the heavens opened up once again Despite the weather, Antonio made sure we got our money's worth. He is so well informed on Portuguese history, food and local facts. Antonio is the best tour guide that we have ever had! He's a safe driver and we had some downpours. We can not speak highly enough of him. Now that we are home, I've already messaged him about today's eclipse. Tour friends for life....

If you’re coming to Portugal, booking a tour with Antonio is a must! He is very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and all the monuments we went to. He’s a very safe driver and very attentive to our needs. He also took us to some of the best food sports throughout all of Portugal, and as a foodie I really appreciated this.

The tours were a great experience especially with Antonio as our guide. He was very accommodating, and flexible. And all the places we went to were worth the visit. Would definitely go back and have him tale us around again.

António was fantastic. Our adult Niece and her family toured with him originally. Then our daughter and son in law used him. He made the trip to Portugal so easy. He took care of everything for us. Many sites we would have never seen. Great little stops for pastries and wine. Hidden lunch spots and beautiful overlooks of the ocean and countryside. We had the time of our life. Many thanks Antonio for all the special touches. We highly recommend Antonio. You will not regret it. Doug and Lisa from Kentucky

Great day! We learned a lot about the region, were able to see many things, and enjoyed good conversation with Antonio throughout the day.

We have known António for several years now . We have dealt with him while visiting Portugal, rented his apartment and taken tours like this one. Punctual, clean comfortable vehicle and amazingly knowledgeable about Portugal, it’s gastronomy the culture and heritage of its people. We left Estoril for the planned destination of Évora. En route we stopped for a coffee, a torta de Azeitão and locally made soft cheese at Cego. We stopped at the most amazing market in Sétubal, Mercado do Livremento (produce, baking, fish, and seafood). We stopped at the Resaurante Moinho do cu Torto, a windmill from the 1800s that still mills flour for their bread (delish). We had their famous tomato soup (vegetable with an egg). Next stop, Viana do Alentejo (Castelo and the Sanctuary de Nossa Senhora d’Aires. Then, our ultimate planned destination of Évora (university town, the Roman ruins of the Temple of Diana, within the wall of this medieval town. The return trip was equally informative. We have already booked another private tour to Sintra with António.
