Mesquite

Pass through the gaming community of Mesquite, NV adjacent to the Arizona state line and 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, with a population of 20,471. Mesquite is located on the Virgin River and is home to a growing retirement community and several casino resorts and golf courses. The community was settled by Mormon pioneers in 1880 and was called Mesquite Flat. It was named for the mesquite timber near the original town site.

Virgin River Gorge

The Virgin River Gorge is a 15 mile long river gorge carved out by the Virgin River that was opened to Interstate 15 mile traffic in December 1973 following nine years of construction. It was the most expensive rural interstate construction project to date. Virgin River Gorge is like a mini Grand Canyon except you cannot drive through the Grand Canyon unless you have a raft

St. George

St George UT is located in southwestern Utah on the Arizona border and lies in the northeasternmost part of the Mojave Desert, adjacent to the Pine Valley mountains and near the convergence of three distinct geologic areas: the Mojave Desert, Colorado Plateau and the Great Basin. It has amazing and colorful landscapes and milder winters compared to the rest of the state.

Hurricane

Hurricane, UT sits in the Hurricane Valley in Washington County, UT and continues to experience significant population and industrial growth. It got its name from one windy day in the 1860s when Mormon leader Erastus Snow had a whirlwind blow the top off a buggy he was driving. Hurricane is known for its historic peach and pecan orchards, open space, green fields and small-town charm.

Springdale

Springdale, UT is a small town population approximately 530 located right outside the boundaries of Zion National Park and is oriented toward the industry with its many name brand resorts, restaurants and local attractions. It is the gateway to Zion National Park and was just named one of the most charming towns in the US.

Zion National Park

At your visit to Zion National Park, you will view the stunning scenery, the spectacular network of colorful canyons, forested mesas and fascinating deserts, sandstone cliffs that are among the highest in the world, the diverse plant and animal communities as well as Ancestral Puebloan, Paiute and Mormon pioneer history. These national parks will overwhelm you with sheer cliffs, stunning colors and amazing natural architecture. Please Note: Between mid-May and mid-October, you get approximately 2.5 hours to visit Zion National Park. Between mid-October and mid-May, only Zion National Park is visited and you will have approximately 5-hours here.
