Napoli Centrale
When you arrive at Napoli Centrale station, walk downstairs to the sub-level station called Napoli Piazza Garibaldi and take the train to Herculaneum.
Ercolano
At Ercolano Portici station, take breakfast at a local bar (coffee and sweet) and then walk over to the Herculaneum archaeological area. Distance c. 1 km through Herculaneum town.
Ercolano Scavi
Upon conclusion of the tour, walk to Ercolano Scavi station close nearby and make your own way on the local train back to Napoli Piazza Garibaldi.
At Napoli Piazza Garibaldi station, walk upstairs to the main Napoli Centrale station concourse, find your platform, and join your train back to Rome.
