York City Walls
We ascend the defensive wall of the city, a formidable Medieval structure of almost 4 km, very well preserved, exploring some of the access gates to the city of York.
Merchant Adventurers' Hall
We stop to admire this spectacular building completed in 1360 AD. For centuries, this construction has been the center of commerce for the city's great merchants. A medieval gem in the middle of the city.
Clifford's Tower
An icon of medieval York: the Great Tower of what was the Castle erected since 1066 AD, when William the Conqueror began his reign of England
York Minster
One of the largest Gothic Cathedrals in Europe, an impressive building built between the 13th and 15th centuries, seat of the Archbishopric of York, located on the ruins of the Roman fort.
St William's College
Another medieval building not to be missed, standing for 600 years, part of the York Minster complex. Beautiful construction of a York that prospered a lot.
Multangular Tower
York was founded by the Roman Empire 1900 years ago, and today we can see one of the towers that enclosed a military garrison that housed 5,500 soldiers.
Barley Hall
Do you want 'Medieval'? We pass in front of this spectacular 14th century house, and thus we understand how York had so much influence many centuries ago!
