The Cabo Girão Skywalk is the highest cliff skywalk in Europe, located on top of the cabo Girão Cliff in Madeira Island. Miradouro Pico Dos Barcelos

The Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint is approximately 355 meters above sea level. From this point, there is a splendid panoramic view over Funchal bay and the city area, with the Desertas Islands in the background. This viewpoint was recently restructured and nowadays it includes additional green and commercial areas where local crafts and restaurants can be found and also new leisure facilities. This area underwent substantial improvements in terms of pedestrian and automobile access.

Associação dos Carreiros do Monte

Instead of riding the cable car down to Funchal, why not use another one of Monte´s attractions? Go on a traditional Monte’s sledge ride – a traditional toboggan ride on a wicker sledge with wooden runners driven by two carriers.

Admission Not Included

Canical

Located at the southeastern end of the island of Madeira, it is part of the municipality of Machico. It is renowned for its harbor with colorful fishermen’s boats, seafront walks, the quaint Whale Museum, and delicious fresh fish restaurants. There is much more to visit in this sunny corner, with arid landscapes that oppose the green tendency of the island.

Canico

Caniço is a parish in the municipality of Santa Cruz in the Madeira Islands. It was elevated to city status in 2005. The population in 2011 was 23,368, in an area of 11.99 km².[2] Caniço is connected to the urban sprawl of Funchal and is larger than the seat of the municipality. It is located 6 km east of Funchal.

Machico

Machico is a municipality, parish, and city in the southeast part of the island of Madeira, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The easternmost municipality on the island, it is also the third most populous area; its population was 21,828 (in 2011). The town, proper, had a population of 10,894 in 2001.

Ponta de Sao Lourenco

Ponta de São Lourenço is one of the last nearly untouched places in Madeira. Located in the eastern part of the island, this is the place where a fantastic combination of rocks, sea and nature created one of Mother Nature’s masterpieces. You can climb up the rocks and see very little evidence of man’s changes to the island. There are excellent views over both the northern and southern sides of the island and, when the weather conditions allow it, you can even see Porto Santo Island.

Miradouro do Cristo Rei do Garajau

The Christ the King statue also known as the Sacred Heart statue is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Garajau, Madeira. It is here that non-catholic Christians were thrown from the cliffs as only Catholics were allowed to be buried on the island until 1770 when the British Cemetery of Funchal was established for non-catholic Christians. The Jewish Cemetery of Funchal was established in 1851. The statue was built in remembrance of the function of the area's history. The statue was built in 1927 and consecrated on October 30, 1927. Financed by the local lawyer Aires de Ornelas and his wife, created by French artists Georges Serraz and Pierre Charles Lenoir. The statue was completed 4 years before Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil. After the tour your guide will take you back to Cruise Ship Port, your hotel or in another place of your choice.
