Would highly recommend in Munich tours, our day was very well organised and our guide Scott was incredible, he dealt with an extremely distressing subject in an impactful and compassionate way.

Scott was super friendly and treated the subject matter with a lot of respect. He was also incredibly knowledgable. The tour was well organised with enough time to freely visit parts of the camp and museum on our own.

I always wanted to go on such a trip, so it was interesting to know the true story of the event. All of the sections were memorable.

We were so glad we went to Dachau and that we did this with a tour guide. It was a powerful and moving experience and our guide, Aileen, was very sensitive to the group participants’ needs, especially our 14 and 17 year old. She informed us ahead when things were particularly graphic and made it completely comfortable for those who didn’t wish to go in to the crematorium. She made sure we had time at the end of the tour to visit the Protestant Chapel which was profoundly helpful. The tour of Dachau helped put much in context for us as we continued on to Berlin to encounter more WW2 history at memorial to the murdered Roma & Sinti, and the Murdered Jews of Europe, the Berlin Jewish Museum, etc. Thank you Aileen!

Our guide, Scott, is amazing. He gave such insightful discussions we got more than a tour and much more than a history lesson. It was an experience of a lifetime

Hein (I hope I’m remembering correctly) was an excellent guide. He knew his way around the public transport which made it very easy for us all to travel to Dachau. Once on site he shared lots of information about the memorial site which expanded on what we could read there about the history of Dachau. A very somber place. He was easy to understand and he even gave us advice regarding a train trip we had to take the next day. Was a nice small group too which made it easier.

Our tour was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Keith, was exceptional at giving us information that we would never have gotten by going ourselves. We appreciated his candor and he was very detailed in his explanations of life for prisoners at Dachau. I highly recommend this tour for the ease and expertise that was apparant throughout our tour.

Our guide, Scott, was excellent. A complete expert on German history, WW2, the holocaust, and Germany since that time. We went into the tour knowing a lot about the country's history and WW2 but we learned SO much more. Like everyone else, we thought about taking a formal tour to Dachau versus going alone. If you are someone who learns by reading through endless text at a museum and has the time and patience to absorb exhibits this way, then you may not need a tour. But listening to Scott tell the history of this event and add details not included in the museum exhibits ensured we learned the material. Plus, you will have about an hour to yourself where you can go through the museum at your own pace. My 14 year old son (minimum age allowed) is a huge WW2 buff and he is still talking about the tour and stories told by Scott. This is the way to go. You won't regret it.
