Our guide showed us many beautiful homes and areas in New Orleans. He provided many interesting tidbits about the culture and history of New Orleans. The mansions are truly stunning. However, we could not escape the feeling that we were seeing only the experience of the privileged white class of New Orleans. There was never acknowledgement of the experiences of enslaved people who created the fortunes of these mansion builders nor any acknowledgement of the challenges faced by those less fortunate in the city. It was a very white-washed experience that left us feeling sad and angry.

Dominick was very knowledgeable and provided wonderful service. His substitutions for the closed cemetery and lunch at Commander's were excellent. However, there was no walking on this tour, which was a little disappointing.

Our host knew everything about NO history, we learned so much with him. He also knows where the good stuff is and booked an amazing restaurant for us. It was our last tour of our stay and we enjoyed it a lot!

Dom Musso was fun, loves New Orleans and handled our group of 14 like a charm. The lunch at Commanders Palace was excellent, I've never seen so many waiters and servers in one place and everyone greeted us. We had a great time with Dom and learned a great deal.
