Good food in our city can be generalized, but of course there are different categories of bars and restaurants, tapas and ways to live the experience. So we will visit the best selection of 4 bars with the best pintxos and pairing for the day that we share the experience of going for pintxos together in San Sebastián. There are prizes for the best pintxos, but the greatest competition is that which is generated by word of mouth in the streets. We like to know what new pintxos our bars offer and what is the best bite to taste fish, meat, vegetables or any new combination at any time. You will learn the history of the pintxos, how is the real experience of going for pintxos and the secrets of the preparation of the pintxos that we will eat.

My husband and I took this pintxos tour on our first night in San Sebastian. Lander was a perfect host. There was just the two of us, so another guide might have cancelled. Not Lander. He explained that he tries to keep the groups small anyways to make sure there is a genuine touch to it. We went to 4 different places, all his favourites, all very genuine and with great food and drink. We also got a lot of advice and insights into what more to do and test in San Sebastian. I can definately recommend this tour. And it was also a great way to start our weekend trip.
