Horseback riding was memorable. But the entire experience was extremely disorganized and low-quality. The website where I booked the experience scheduled us for 10:30AM and implied that we were going to meet in Atlanta and be driven by bus to the horseback riding and wine tasting. But 1 day before the booking, I received a grammatically incorrect email message telling me to go to Dillard GA at 1 PM instead. It was a struggle to get in touch with someone to confirm that this new information was indeed correct. The wine tasting only offered 4 wine samples. Every wine tasting I've ever been to has offered more than 4 wine samples, usually involves walking through vineyards, and usually offers snacks to eat with the wines. Also, a lot of the instructions that I received were sent to me at the last minute and by text message. Communication did not seem clear, professional, or organized. It honestly felt like a teenager in a basement was throwing everything together at the last minute and text messaging me incoherent details. After horseback riding and wine tasting the next day, Dante text messaged me to meet him at the "Burger King in Clayton" for our "light lunch." He didn't give me an address or specify what the lunch would entail. When we arrived at the Burger King, he told us to follow him by car to the hiking location. When we arrived for the hike, he pulled homemade snacks out of his backpack for "lunch" that he had presumably made himself. He told us we could wash our hands in the local river.

I reserved a date to go on the horseback and wine tour with Winery Journeys and they canceled the tour on me the day before the tour, no explanation and no heads up! If I had known a day or two prior I would have at least had time to plan something different to do that day. Their customer service is terrible Do not do this Tour with Winery Journeys, they are terrible!!!!!

We had an Amazing time Horseback Riding. Our tour guide Dante kept us entertained and full of laughter. Then the winery was just Beautiful to end off the activities. My Wife loved her Birthday adventure and we will definitely be back to enjoy other activities with friends and family.

Please see the below email trails, several communication back and forth, the last communication was 3/27/2017 stating that we would be going to Boutier Winery in Dawsonville, and Dante did not tell me till the day before that he changed the location due to it being Easter weekend, after a very vigorous phone conversation I told Dante that is unacceptable, I told him I have been to Chateau Elan and that is not the place I wanted to go,

I told Dante to go ahead and refund me he then changed on 4/14 to Shady Acres, in email trail you will see I asked for the exact time, we had spoke and said 10:30, which means I would have to leave Atlanta around 8 am to get tot Dawsonville, I called and spoke to Dante and told him that we spoke and confirmed this was the trail ride in Dawsonville, see the email date 3/27/2017 when he sent me email that we would be going to Boutier Winery, in Dawsonville, only the day before the event did he tell me that it was back to Chateau Elan.

After knowing how angry I was he/ Dante said that I could come back since the horseback ride was close to 15 min, and rode down a residential area, in the back of a pasture of a ladies house and the owner of the horses had back problems and couldnt take us thru the entire ride.

I had no choice since Dante did not tell me until one day before of the location change, if you see in the email I asked specifically of the start time of 10:30 what is adverstised on Viator the start time is 10:30, you see in email Dante wanted a 1:00 start time, that is when I knew he changed the location without telling me, there is an 8 hour window with 90 min horse back ride, we did not get 8 hours of riding

If Dante had told me I could have rescheduled to when I could get to the Dawsonville location, Dante lied to my face and when I went to reschedule he didnt include the horseback ride, I think Dante is not telling the truth and I should be refunded

the ride was horrible, Dante lied and did not give me the 8 hour tour I paid for as well as the ride in Dawsonville, the ride was less than 30 min, he basically ate the food he bought to us, didn't wash his hands after riding a horse, he prominsed that we could redeem our voucher to the correct location in Dawsonville cause he know I was angry and didn't get 380 worth and when it came to re book he lied and I am now fighting for my money back
