Charlotte Street Park

Stroll this quiet antebellum street of Wragg district, where so much happened, and so little realize it.

The Citadel

This military college dates back to the civil war. Some say, they even started it!

Morris Island Lighthouse

Travel to the end of Folly Beach to get an upclose and personal with the 6th oldest lighthouse in the US. This includes a 1/4 mile walk to the lighthouse, with a little bit of sand on the beach!

Folly Beach Fishing Pier

This pier had it's heyday in the 1940's as one of the first amusement parks in the nation. Newly renovated, you are free to roam to it's end, or shop inside the terrific beach store (including ice cream and hot dogs) or even have a margarita at Pier 101 Beach Bar (if open).

Angel Oak Tree

We will visit this 400-500 year old, John's Island live oak.

Drayton Hall

The only and oldest remaining plantation house, in it's original form. While we do not tour inside the house, we will stop for pictures and history lesson.

Old St. Andrew's Parish Church

The oldest remaining parish hall south of Virginia, sits among the Spanish moss and graveyard of the Drayton family.

Walk along the station street just beyond the fort, to the beach, and get a great big surprise!

Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church

This beautiful church was built during the 1830's for the Irish Army Core of Engineers constructing the forts on the island. Travel back in time into this testament of survival.

Sullivan's Island Lighthouse

The ugliest lighthouse in America!
