Your Itinerary

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

This is the oldest bar in the country and a Pirates pub. Once the home of the famous pirate and a well known ghost, Jean Lafitte and company. Bloody Mary has dozens of of documentaries and extensive research in her book on this infamous bar. We have been meeting here for decades with hundreds of spirit encounters to share with you with the many spirits waiting within! See the picture of the ghost horse we have in front when you get to our haunted museum stop!

Gallier House

(Pass by)

This is a Historic Architects Home in the French quarter now museum used in many films like Interview with a Vampire and recently in American Horror Story season 5: Coven. We were involved with that show- ask us how when you are on tour!

Lalaurie Mansion

Sorry, no tour can actually go inside this haunted private home but it is the most famous haunted house in the south + (My great great great aunt built this is 1831) This is the real Lalaurie mansion, but we also point the fake one used in American Horror story too. You see pictures of inside the house at the Haunted museum stop where we do the ghost hunt a for the finale of this tour!

Old Ursuline Convent Museum

We can't go in the convent at night but can the spirits come out? The oldest structure in New Orleans has its ghosts but the extended property, now built atop, is a virtual hotbed of hauntings in the French Quarter! Many people talk about vampires here but we have actually been inside the attic and know better!

Historic BK House & Gardens

Peer into the haunted gardens to this haunted mansion nicknamed "the Ghost Dormitory. Layers of ghosts remain here, but will they follow us, remains a mystery?

Hotel Provincial

(Pass by)

One of New Orleans many haunted hotels. There are consistent reports of the an old hospital and its patients reappear and replay in a sort of slip time in the notorious building 5 ! La Provincial is somewhat ghost friendly and the staff is human friendly, but the bedside manner of the ghost nurses is questionable! We cant stop at every little haunted stop you see the regular tours go to so we can actually go in depth and inside one that no one else can go into and add a hands on ghost hunt with you

Madame John's Legacy

"Interview with a Vampire" & "12 years a slave" movie site and one of French Quarters top 3 oldest Buildings. The spirits her have been watching us since before the 1788 Great Fire!

New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum

Storytelling and a historic Voodoo intro at this crossroads near this historic spot where New Orleans Voodoo was honored since 1971. Bloody Mary began her professional Voodoo and Ghost hunting here 25 years ago with this tour of the undead and first Night time cemeteries . She had the Haunted Spirit realm and ghost photo gallery here 1999-2005. at its haunted slave quarters pre-Katrina. We moved the collection and gallery to our own Haunted museum and took many of the spirits with us too!

Rodrigue Studio

The Blue Dog stares at us from this famous French quarter art gallery while the spirit of Julie, the naked ghost walks on the rooftop. Lets see if she comes out to say hello on your night out with us!

St. Louis Cathedral

The Catholic History in New Orleans is overwhelming and the church itself is supported by many a dead body of the rich and holy. The Catholics property spanned from here all the way down Royal Street with some ghostly residents in wait today - like Julie, Marie Laveau, Pere Dagobert and Pere Antoinne...

Jackson Square

examine the history and the executions from yesteryear

Bourbon Orleans Hotel

The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is famous for its ghosts and the Quadroon ballroom 's haunted balcony overlooking Orleans St. can be hopping! In general the spirits in the Hotel are selective on when and if they pop up and are a moody lot. The ghost nuns are particularly stern. It was also a theatre and later a nunnery before it was a hotel- sometimes now it is still all 3!

Louis Armstrong Park

This Park houses the famous Congo square where historic Voodoo rituals and Voodoo drums echoed since the 1700's ! We pass by the Home of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau right across the street on St Ann to pay out respects!

TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! The first half of this tour was great, and the person conducting it was well versed. However, the ghost hunting portion is abominable. We expected it would be a story from 100 years ago or something, but no. What they do not tell you prior to purchasing or going through the house is that this was a murder suicide in 2006. It is a very disturbing story that stems from an Iraqi war vet having PTSD. Being there with a person who is also a Iraqi war vet, this was extremely triggering. Also, the "ghost hunting tools" were a joke. This was very hoaky and clearly a company making money off an extremely unfortunate event that took the lives of two youthful people who should be with us today.

Had an amazing tour with Bloody Mary! From learning about the history of the city to seeing and visiting the cemeteries to ghost hunting, we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this tour because there is no other tour out there that gives you so many incredible experiences in one tour. It’s simply the best!

I booked this tour with the understanding we were ghost hunting upstairs. We were there maybe 20 minutes og the several hour night. When u pay $100 for a fampus haunted. Location, you should get to ghost hunt for a couple hours at least. The guide was rude several times, even scolding an a very nice older women. Way over priced for 20 minutes ghost hunting. She even told us to keep our mouths shut if we werent happy. I feel completely ripped off.

A very interesting place for the price, we spent about an hour here- on the self guided tour with the app. We added on the DIY voodoo dolls which was fun. A lot of energy in the museum and upstairs, my friend even caught the face of a ghost in the window of one of her pictures from outside in the back courtyard, and what I believe to be an orb in one of my pictures in the doll room. A must visit if you're in to that sort of thing.

I picked this tour because the website looked very quality and because it was the highest priced (thinking you get what you pay for). IMHO the walking tour was no different than any other or the similar tours we bumped into as we walked around French Q -because ALL of these companies are selling the same BORING product- a host talks to a group as they walk from site to site explaining what may (or may not) have happened here years ago. There was no "special access" to anyhing that any other pedestrain walking by could see for free. We got there late because TripAdvisor didn't give us updates, so MAYBE? this tour would be longer than (far) cheaper ones. Personally, I was glad to have it over as quickly as possible (I bought this for family just to be something to do and thought it would be fun). We stop at a "museum" where we are to "come equipped" with GhostBusters? style spirit "detectors" and THIS is where I truly feel Bloody Mary's Tour deceived me. Granted, there is no specified size to what someone may deemed a "museum"..but I was conditioned to thinking it to be vast..and again ..in my opinion it was tiny..like 2-3 standard sized rooms filled with mystical "knick knacks". We then go upstairs where there are 3 small rooms and for the next hour you "explore" these rooms with your "GhostBuster gear" as the guide tells you in one room over a hundred years ago little children lived and now their ghosts haunt the room. The next room you are not told anything other than "something happened" here. I quickly got bored and just sat in the middle room with the AC (where -I guess- nothing happened). Once the hour passed we went back downstairs where the guide "debriefed" us and showed us a recording of our time in the rooms. The recordings were supposed to capture any paranormal events but my group of 4 didn't notice anything. Debrief was that 10-15? years ago boyfriend killed and dismembered girlfriend and left body in the fridge up stairs whilst he partied up enough courage to finally kill himself. If this is your jam then have at it..but I dropped a large sum of money on this "paranormal experience" and really came away with nothing substancial.

Interesting and fun tour of haunted New Orleans. You cannot do any better than being escorted by Bloody Mary, Voodoo Queen of NOLA herself. You can tell how she respects the spirits of NOLA and her love of the city. Lots of tours to chose from, but this is the BEST!

Grannylilly

The tour was very informative both from a supernatural and historical point of view. Rachel was very knowledgeable and gave us a different view of New Orleans. The investigation was very spooky. I would definitely recommend this tour. Well worth the money.

buzyredhead

We did a number of ghost tours during the week in New Orleans. This one was the most expensive but well worth the money paid. This was by far our favorite. I really liked that the tour groups with this company were small/limited. There was a forecast of heavy rains and flooding on the night we booked our tour for. We received a call asking if we wanted to switch to another day but we were unable to so we went on the originally scheduled day and it ended up not raining or flooding.

Friendly staff at a must see location in New Orleans ! And if at all possible, ask to do the tour when Bloody Mary herself leads it - You will love it. Informative, entertaining and dare I say educational all wrapped up in the diverse and interactive tour. The museum walk-through tour is also fantastic and really good to do prior to the ghost hunting tour. Beyond glad we made time to do this and with Mary herself !
