This is the second year in a row that we have taken John’s E-bike tour and once again, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. John is an enthusiastic, witty and energetic owner who kept us laughing through the orientation despite being serious about the challenges of the tour. He bends over backwards to accommodate guests’ needs and will advise you if he thinks the route is too challenging for you. The route was easy to follow and the bikes made hill climbing very easy. The vineyard stop gave us the opportunity to get taste local wines and some antipasto. I would highly recommend this tour which you complete at your own speed. Can’t say enough about John’s service and friendliness.

Great bikes and great route. John is a delight - very thorough and entertaining with his instruction and route review - that alone is worth the price of admission. He clearly loves what he is doing. I rarely write reviews, but everything about this experience was so good that I wanted to give a huge shout out to John. The only regret is that John couldn't join us on the ride (he had to mind the shop) but we did talk him into a pint with us after our return. We own e-bike mountain bikes and have rented from various places - John's bikes are by far the best rental bikes we have ever used and they are in first class condition. We had not used map.me before and I had trouble setting it up. John fixed my set up problems in no time atI all. The map included numerous helpful notes. Excellent value for the price.

This is a must do outing. The self guided route gives you ample time to take in the beautiful countryside of Florence and surrounding areas. The e bikes themselves are high quality and John, our operator, was friendly and helpful. Do not skip this - easily the best value tour we’ve taken.

Such a fun experience!! I was a little nervous to being with, but it was a great ride!!! The ebike definitely helps along the uphill roads. The views are spectacular!!! The winery was a great stop and the people could not have been nicer! A top notch activity to do if you’re in Florence.

This is an awesome bike tour around the hills of Florence. The bike riding is super easy because the bikes are Cube brand, top-of-the-line, E bikes, very powerful assisting the rider up the hills. Also John, the owner is very friendly and engaging while covering all the points needed to do this self guided tour. He does an introduction on how all the bikes operate as well as the bike course, After his introduction we were very comfortable traveling around this city the first time we’ve ever visited Florence. I would recommend it to people of all ages. It’s also nice the bike has saddlebags so you can store your backpacks, personal items, and water, bottles without having to wear them. There are spots along the way to fill your water bottles The vineyard we visited was awesome. The staff was very friendly. Really wanted to see a Tuscan winery while we were here and that was it, There was car traffic on parts of this course, but we never felt we were in danger. A majority of this course is country roads, or bike lanes or bike pass. This activity is also great to get out of the city and away from some of the crowds. It really recharged ourselves. We strongly recommend this activity John gave us maps for our phones and there are phone holders on the bike handlebars so following the course was very intuitive on our trip.

This was a wonderful day and a good counterbalance to walking on pavements in the city. E=Bikes provided us with a self guided tour and explained the various parts of it. The tour led us along the River and then through a village where we stopped and bought oranges and strawberries, and then into the hills with a stop for lunch at a winery. The bikes were well outfitted and comfortable and a breeze to ride. It was a really great day. I highly recommend this company and one of their self guided tours.
