Michael was beyond knowledgeable plus a true local. Still living in the area he included the changes in Girona. We learned so much on this tour it was our favorite in Spain. Plus Girona is beautiful beyond words.

They would have easily canceled the tour as they apparently needed at least two clients to go and I was the only one, yet, Monica (plus Miguel) graciously accommodated me and toured me around the Old Town even if I was the only client they had for the day (esp considering it wasn't peak season, so tours are not as packed as lean seasons)! Such lovely and nice tour guides who knew the ins and outs of town so well. Since I booked two tours (this, plus the Game of Thrones tour), they combined it as the places are within similar areas, so both tours did not go to waste. I wouldn't have know which place was relevant to what, had it not been for the thorough guidance of these two angels. They gave me recommendations re other places to check out that can be visited without booking tours and places to eat as well. I stepped into Girona with little knowledge of this little lovely town; I headed out with learnings and an appreciation of the beautiful medieval charm that tourists miss out on (cos most would reportedly bypass the city and head somewhere else that sounds more wellknown). Monica and Miguel (and Carme [I hope I got it right] - for keeping me up to date) - much gratitude for extending your warmth and kindness! Girona is a beautiful place!

Ona was an amazing guide; she took us through the city and gave us a lot of history and knowledge about Girona, as well as food and sweet recommendations. We were lucky to have great weather, overall a great tour

We did a private tour of the History, Legends, and Monuments that included entrance to the Cathedral of Santa María, the Basílica of Sant Feliu and the Arab Baths. Ona was a wonderful guide, and was full of information on the history, myths, and sites that we toured. She gave us good recommendations for snacks, lunch, and for walking on the wall after our tour. Ona answered our questions and made it a fun tour. Thank you!

Fascinating tour which brings to life the places, people and politics of 1200 years of Girona history. Excellent guide with very good English, very knowledgeable and personable. A comfortable distance to walk with some steps and inclines. Highly recommended!

We had done a half day Game of Thrones tour the day before and were lucky to once again have Ona as our guide for Girona. She has tremendous knowledge about history, architecture and stories of Girona. Girona is lovely to walk on your own, but having a guide makes it come alive. We enjoyed seeing the cathedral, arab baths and the basilica. She also showed us the modern/everyday side of Girona and made some great restaurant recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our two tours with Ona and fell in love with Girona!

We had a wonderful morning in Girona with Ona—she was very accommodating when our first train from Barcelona was canceled and we had to start the tour about 10 minutes late. She very quickly learned our interests and focused on those interests throughout the tour. She gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do around town following our tour as well. We would highly recommend this Tour!

Our guide, Ona, was a delight. She spoke phenomenal english and was very informative. It really was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. She was engaging, friendly, courteous, and a wealth of information.
