This was a fantastic tour. We were picked up in Bari by Domenico who had great communication and directions for pick up. Domenico drove us and then walked us to our guide Renato whose family use to live in Matera. Their insight and connection to thus beautiful town was amazing! Domenico then drove us back to Bari. Such a great team.

Renato was a great guide and a local. He was very informative , funny. He walked slowly and kept us safe as it can be difficult terrain to walk on. Would have like to use facilities before food tasting . Never even saw a bathroom! Food tasting was delicious.

Claudio picked us up at our hotel in Polignano and drove us to Matera where we met a guide to take us through the Sassi. Afterwards he drove us back to our hotel.
