Al and I loved this wonderful journey from Roma to Orvieto. A beautiful day of scenery, shopping, food and wine provided by the best tour service in Roma. Our second time working with Ivano and he once again surpassed our expectations.

They trip to Orvieto was very nice and a switch up from the city of Rome. The best unexpected surprise was the additional trip to the winery Madonna Del Latte! We had a private tour with the owner and it was by far our best wine tour experience! The wine was amazing and the tastings from the neighboring farms was so incredible.

Orvieto, small and quaint. The Duomo is magnificent. The underground city is a must see. Thank you DGS for suggesting and providing this tour. The charming town is very different from Rome. We experienced a different way of life in Italy. The drive from Rome to Orvieto is comfortable and relaxing. Marco, explained and told stories along the way. We saw hilltop towns, farmers' fields, and of course Olive trees. Marco took us to a local restaurant with a spectacular view, we saw the town of Orvieto from a different angle. The foods, the pasta, the steak.... are beyond words can described. We will be back to Orvieto and visit their vineyard next time.

We took two tours with them- Rome by Night and this one. Excellent guides- knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and very attentive. Would highly recommend them. Tailored each tour to our interests. On time, clean cars, wonderful people! Ivano was a delight to talk with- we had wonderful conversations about food and wine.

Exactly as described, got picked up by Claudio, an art historian who was very informative. Discussed artists for the Vatican to the Orvieto duomo and to the emperors of Rome. Really the trip was out to the quaint city on a hill first built by the Etruscans. Then we stopped at the Gardens of Bomarzo.

This was a fantastic tour to Orvieto with Ivano. We stopped for lunch at a small local restaurant that served local wine and what a steak! It was served on a hot stone so we could all get it cooked to our personal tastes. We then stopped to see the Duomo and the beautiful surrounding areas, and then on to our hotels in the Cortona country side. Ivano is a fun and knowledgeable guide and loves sharing information and stories about the country he loves. I have used DGS 3 times already and I highly recommend them for any tours or travel. Roberta is friendly and kind and goes beyond helpful in arranging whatever you might need.

This was an amazing experience! We loved seeing the beautiful countryside, we enjoyed our wine tasting at a cozy, family run winery and seeing Orvieto and Umbria Region. Our guide, Ivano was very friendly, had so much knowledge of the area and made the experience so special for us. He spoke English and acted as a translator for us when needed too. If you plan to visit Rome, you must use this company!!

This was one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. Ivano is the best there is! We booked a trip to Orvieto/Umbria for one day and we had so much fun and learned so much from him that we scheduled Ivano to take us around Rome the next day. The day trip to Orvieto went by so quickly. It was a wonderful car ride to the area with Ivano teaching us all about Italy. Orvieto is a lovely city worth visiting but the church and the frescoes in it are worth the trip itself. After visiting the city and the sites, Ivano took us to a lovely place for a late lunch which what simply amazing. The food and wine were incredible. You must get the bean dish! Wow! We had a fantastic tour thanks to Ivano. I could not recommend this private day trip more! Thank you, Ivano!

After our tremendous Rome by Night tour with this company, we booked this tour with DGS and Ivano. What a great decision we made. Ivano himself is half the fun of the tour. The 90 minute drive through the Italian countryside is a tour within itself. Ivano did a great job describing the villages, sights, and mountains along the drive. Orvieto itself is a masterpiece, a medievel gem, and the Duomo is awe-inspiring. The wine tasting is well-worth your time if you are interested in wine, and you will learn about new grapes and regions. Lunch was amazing- definitely share the steak. Ivano's tours are colorful and go beyond history. His passion for his country and culture is intoxicating and makes for a wonderful experience.

This is my second time to use DGS and once again, they did an excellent job. PUNCTUAL: We were picked up and dropped off from our hotels on time. Our schedule was adjusted to our needs while maximizing tour opportunities. The Mercedes Benz van was clean and comfy and our guide Ivan was dressed professionally. KNOWLEDGE: Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the historical/cultural information. He provided us great information which allowed us to have an immersive experience. He made sure we get to experience an authentic Italian cuisine by booking a lunch at family owned ristorante that served great Italian food!
