Departing from Glasgow in the morning, we travel north, pausing for refreshments in the Trossachs National Park area, before continuing onwards to Glencoe.

We will drive through the beautiful Trossachs National Park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as we travel to our next destination.

Glencoe

We stop for photos at Glencoe and enjoy its atmospheric surroundings. The location is infamous for the Massacre of the Clan MacDonald. Learn all about it's dark history and take some beautiful photos! The glen is arguably one of Scotland's most famous, and features in James Bond's 'Skyfall'.

Fort William

We stop in the town of Fort William for a short coffee break before we continue onwards to Mallaig and the Road to the Isles.

Road to the Isles

We travel to Mallaig on the Road to the Isles; a beautiful road with plenty of scenic views and Jacobite history! The area was run by the Clan Donald and is said to have some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, with sandy beaches, dramatic hills and unforgettable sea views; it's one not to be missed!

Mallaig

At the end of the road, we reach Mallaig, a scenic port on the West coast of Scotland. Mallaig comes from the old Norse, 'Mel Vik', meaning a sand dune bay. Spend time here for lunch, perhaps sample some of the famous local seafood and enjoy the beautiful sea views.

Glenfinnan Viaduct

We spend plenty of time at Glenfinnan to see the monument and its Viaduct. We arrive just in time to see the Jacobite Steam train cross over the bridge; so don't forget to bring your camera for this iconic photo!
