Our overall experience was great. Our guide, Mark, did a fantastic job and truly made our trip the most enjoyable one of the day. Very detailed and passionate for the area!. All of the staff on the train did a great job. However, our group thought the train ride could be shortened a tad to give you more time at the Grand Canyon. Also thought the train ride was going to show more majestic views of the canyon.

JR was awesome and knowledgeable. Would recommend and will definitely keep them in mind if I return to the area in the future.

I felt the description of the tour was very misleading. It is not a 10 hour train tour of the canyon. It is an unimpressive train ride to the canyon followed by a Van tour of the canyon. The tour guide (Cat) on the van was fantastic! Not her fault the van broke down!

The train ride was very good. Everything was very organized, and we knew what to do every step of the way. The train ride was only part of the tour though. We took the van to the train station and then took the train to the Grand Canyon. After we arrived at the Grand Canyon, we continued our tour via tour van. Regarding the train ride, there is a big difference between the regular train car and the upgraded car that we took. (We were not allowed into the luxury car so I can't comment on that one.) The regular train car had bench seats and the car was very old (about 100 years old). The upgraded car had snacks, individual seats and restrooms. All cars had entertainment though. I was glad we upgraded. Van tour was very detailed and we made may stops to take in the changing scenery.

Brad was the absolute best guide. He was knowledgeable, fun and made our day wonderful. The railroad and van tour were a perfect match!

My wife and I had an awesome time. We were in the Yavapai Car which had not only comfortable seats but also reclined for additional comfort. The Marshall and the Cataract Gang started the day at the "Western Town Show" complete with a shoot-out at the coral and ended the day with "The Robbery". Our tour guide on the train was Tarol. She was informative, funny, and gracious. Her stories were a hoot. Try her famous Whoo Whoo drink concoction (adults only). The train ride itself was 2.5 hours long one way, but before you knew it the Grand Canyon was the next stop. A sighting of Elk was an extra surprise (not included in the price LOL) On the return train trip, we were treated to a train robbery, complete with cowboys on racing horses pursuing the train that had to stop (due to a rubber cow placed on the train tracks) All the theatrics made for a great adventure. The Marshall captured all the desperados. I forgot to mention the Gentleman Cowboy with a guitar that sang/yodeled on the trip to the Canyon. On the return trip, we had a young guitar player with a modern fair. Overall, you will not be disappointed with the snacks, drinks (with and w/o alcohol), the entertainment, and your coach host (ask for Tarol).

The Grand Canyon was amazing . The train ride was peaceful. Good time to sit back and relax. There was a lady who sang some songs with her guitar. She had a lovely voice with a great attitude.

We loved everything. From the beginning of the tour to the end of the tour. Our tour guide Andrea she was the best and was very educated about the area and a very helpful to all our needs. We especially loved the Grand Canyon it’s simply breathtaking . If we come back to Sedona and do another tour we will ask for Andrea to be our guide.

Train ride was Ok -- more for families I believe. The van ride was excellent - our tour guide Andrea was fabulous as she took us to four different areas around the canyon.
