Grand Canyon National Park

This Grand Canyon tour offers some of the most stunning scenery on Earth. It’s the only tour in Las Vegas that takes you out to Hopi Point, the highest and most scenic point at Grand Canyon. Only Grand Canyon shuttle buses operated in this secluded part of Grand Canyon, where the edge of earth touches the faint, blue sky. We begin our walk at Bright Angel Lodge and follow the upper rim trail to Hopi Point. The most amazing part of this walk is that each lookout point gets better and better until we arrive at the most stunning of them all, Hopi Point. The South Rim is 1,000 feet lower than the North Rim so the Grand Canyon looks like a screen drop against the sky. It’s absolutely stunning and surreal and will keep you breathless throughout the walk. The best part about walking is that we’re able to feel the peace and surrealness of the Grand Canyon wisp around us. Grand Adventures is the only tour operator to offer such a cool walking tour and experience!

You'll stop by Seligman, Arizona and check out the area that inspired the Pixar Disney film "Cars".

This is a must experience tour at the greatest location to see the Grand Canyon…the South Rim! Incredible guide (Alfonso) who also doubles as an amazing photographer. You will not regret doing this tour

This was an amazing tour. We enjoyed the experience thanks to our talented and knowledgeable tour guide Alfonso. He was so informative and really provided a great day for all of the group.

Very pleasant knowledgeable driver. Trip well planned. Long journey but worth every minute to see one of the world's most spectacular scenes.

All our expectations were exceeded on the tour. Our guide, Alfonso, was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make this a personal tour on our first-time visit to the Grand Canyon. Alfonso also doubled as our photographer 🙂 and took memorable pictures of the family that were priceless. There were thunderstorms at the canyon when we entered, but Alfonso was very patient to get the best photos given the situation. The sun eventually came out, then it was smooth sailing from that point. Here were the top three things that stood out compared to other tour groups I saw: 1. Full red carpet/royal family personal tour - Multiple stops at different locations, photos, history on the locations. We did not feel rushed. 2. Breakfast, lunch, water and snacks were included and no hidden costs. 3. Hotel pick-up and drop-off.

This tour was the highlight of our Vegas trip and having Alfonso as our tour guide was an absolute blessing! This tour to the South Rim includes stops at Hoover Dam and Seligman (for Route 66) and the time passed quickly thanks to Alfonso’s informative and interesting commentary. Picnic lunch with canyon views was unbeatable and then we embarked on our walk around the Rim. As you can imagine, the views were awe inspiring and Alfonso allowed us plenty of time to take photos. We found out during the day that he is also an accomplished photographer and took some incredible shots for us. We were not rushed at any time and left the Canyon when our group of 8 was ready, so we are thankful for the extra time that Alfonso gave us to really appreciate our surroundings. Yes, it’s a long day but we already knew that. It was worth it though as we now have life memories and awesome photos of a special day in a very special place. Thank you Grand Adventure Tours and special thanks to Alfonso, you’re a gem!

We are glad to travel with Alfonso. He is a very nice guide with professional knowledge and good photo skills. We have a very good time.

It was my husband’s second visit with Grand Adventures Tour to Grand Canyon. Luckily, we went with a small group! (Only 4 People). The tour was designed to cover Hoover Dam, Route 66 and Grand Canyon within 15 hours, with a Pickup and Drop at your hotel in Las Vegas. I must say this is best package you can get for Grand Canyon. Talking about our tour guide Alfonso, he was beyond amazing. He is very well knowledgeable, knows all the historical facts and showed us things we would have never noticed on our own. Not to mention he is veteran and knows how to convey the right information. At each stop he made sure to capture some incredible photos and at times it felt like we had our own personal photographer for the trip. He was excellent and really made our trip memorable. The Breakfast and Lunch was included in the cost of tour, Plenty of water supplied too. Arby’s sandwiches and grapes provided for lunch were delicious. Overall the whole trip was fun and memorable.

We had the best time with our tour guide Alfonso! He was super knowledgeable and he told us many interesting facts throughout the trip. We were picked up at the Bellagio Bus Tour Depot promptly at 6.15am in a small van - our party was only four people and we had Alfonso all to ourselves. We had a brief stop at McDonalds for breakfast, which was included in the cost of the tour. Then went to Hoover Dam, and from there to Seligman to drive through the historic Route 66 and had a brief stop at the Copper Cart Motoporium where we saw an amazing collection of classic cars and motorcycles. John, the super charismatic owner of Copper Cart suggested we read Grapes of Wrath in order to get a better understanding of the significance of Route 66 to the American imaginary, specifically in the Midwest. From Seligman we drove straight to the Grand Canyon, had a delicious picnic which was also included in the cost of the tour, and hiked in the beautiful south rim (highly recommend!) for a couple of hours before heading back to Las Vegas. Alfonso took our pictures at every stop we made, and they were really good!

By chance we had a private tour with Alfonso & we were so grateful, he went above and beyond everything that we could have expected ! On this holiday we had been to N.Y, S.F and L.A & had many tours but this tour beat them all. Alfonso was exceptionally organised & knowledgeable and really made us feel special. I told him of my wish to have travelled route 66 & he clearly took this on board and made this a part of our tour, taking time to highlight and show us what he knew we would like. I loved this as much as Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam! and the pictures Alfonso took of us at all of our stops were awesome. If you do this tour ask for Alfonso he clearly loves his job and is worth his weight in Gold. 3 BOOMS FROM ALL FOUR OF US !

Would recommend the south rim walking tour for anyone wanting to do a day trip from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. We had Alfonso as our guide who provided a lot of facts during the drive and took some great photos.
