We toured as a family of six, which actually is slightly less expensive as a private tour than as six individuals. That was very helpful, and the van was perfect for us as my son and I are 6'8" tall, so the type of vehicle matters! Jeremy was our naturalist/driver and I got those in the correct order. Jeremy first determined what our interests where, and with my two grandsons, they wanted to see bears and moose. Jeremy mentioned he could make no promises, but he delivered! We came around a corner on a dirt road running through a field, and there were 15-20 vehicles on both sides of the "road" barely allowing us to pass through. They were waiting for a specific bear and her three older cubs that were expected to be in that area. Jeremy wasn't going to just park and hope like all these folks were, including some tours. I was riding shotgun, and he mentioned that he thought we should drive on and go about half a mile further around a corner and down a draw. When we got to where he wanted to look, there was no one else there except grizzly bears! Specifically, it was grizzly sow 610 and her three cubs at a distance of about 100 yards! Jeremy got out his scope and high-quality binoculars for all. He even turned his phone on camera and put it on the end of the scope and videoed the bears scavenging for food and enjoying the sun. It was incredible that everyone else was waiting to see what we had right in front of us! Jeremy fulfilled my grandson's requests for moose (we saw several) but the bears was the highlight of the tour - other than the fact that you are in such a beautiful part of our country! The Grand Teton National Park is a smaller park, but the views are incredible, and Jeremy made certain that we saw those vistas, as well as elk, antelope, deer, moose, and of course 610 and her cubs! Great job, Jeremy! And thanks to Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour! I wish I could tag on the videos of the bears, you will just have to get up to Jackson Hole and see them in person!

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful time on this van tour. Our guide Kayla arrived early to pick us up at 6:30 am at our condo. She was personable and accommodating, asking us what wildlife we most wanted to try and see and adjusting the tour accordingly. The three of us were the only ones on this tour but I believe the max number is around eight people. High-quality binoculars are provided for each passenger and the guide has a spotting scope in the back of the van for getting closer views of wildlife. We were lucky to see a mother and baby moose at Disappointment Pond right off the bat. This tour provided breakfast and a picnic lunch and they were excellent. Huge blueberry muffins and juice for breakfast and gourmet hoagies or salads for lunch. They also provided a big basket full of snacks (cereal bars, nuts, etc.) and water. There are ample bathroom breaks all through the day. All you need to do is dress appropriately and bring your camera. We took lots of pictures of bison, a few mule deer, the aforementioned moose, one lonely pronghorn, and ducks. Highly recommended!

We were so thankful we took this tour. Cynthia was amazing and she really knows where the animals are and we saw so many. She has an eye like no other. If it was just my husband and I we would have driven right by and missed so much. We saw a moose, bison, elk, many birds and even a baby coyote. He was so cute and because she told us to be very quiet we got to really see him. He absolutely blended into the environment how Cynthia saw him we will never know. The entire rest of our trip to the Tetons and to Yellowstone we used her tips to spot animals. We saw the brown or dark specs on the hills and that way we were able to use her expertise to guide the rest of our trip. Absolutly amazing trip. Highly recommend spending the $ and getting up early.

There is no way a layman can spot wildlife in this vast Grand Teton. Cynthia our extremely knowledgeable guide/ instructor and such a positive lovely lady showed us all what we wanted! Her spotting abilities were mind blowing- she was the first one to spot the Grizzly 399 with her cub. She made the trip very exciting and tailored it to our liking. We ended up seeing 4 moose, 2 grizzly bears and beautiful great blue herons and some more animals all because of her. Thanks a lot! Must take a tour in Grand Teton and highly recommend Cynthia and this company!

Our friendly guide Jimmy was already waiting for us in the hotel lobby when we came down at 6.20am. We set off and within minutes Jimmy had shown us a hawk and a coyote which were hunting for their breakfasts. After this he took us to numerous points of interest in Grand Teton and managed to show us some local wildlife at most of them. Jimmy was a mine of information about the animals ( including the latin names for most of them! ) and the area. We appreciated his sense of humour and interest in packing as much of Grand Teton, its wildlife and plants into our 8 hour adventure. A fascinating, educational day which we would thoroughly recommend. ( And the sandwich and cookies were very good too - especially when eaten overlooking Lake Jenny.) Thank you very much Neill and Jan

Had an awesome half day private wildlife tour with Jed as our guide. He was a wealth of knowledge on wildlife, nature, geology. He spotted moose with calf, a grizzly with a cub, pronghorn, elk, bison…basically everything we wanted to see. I used this company 4 years ago for a 2 day tour and was extremely impressed so I booked again. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I booked both the Private Grand Teton Wildlife Safari and the Best of Yellowstone tour in June 2023. Jeffrey was our guide and driver for both tours and we could not have hoped for a better experience. He was punctual and had all of the best qualities of a tour and park guide. We were delighted when we got Jeffrey for a second day in Yellowstone. Throughout the entire trip he shared interesting facts about the history and present state of the landscape, flora, and fauna. He was able to get us exclusive views of animals and some of the best landscapes that the region has to offer. Additionally, he was a great driver, which is huge if you're prone to motion sickness as these tours involve a lot of mountain and trail driving. JHWS planned the logistics of the trip (including food and restrooms) well and Jeffrey was amendable to making adjustments to fit in more of the things we wanted to see. The vehicles were well maintained and they provided scopes and binoculars that were easy to use. Overall 10/10, this one of the best tour companies out there.

We had an amazing day on the tour with Jeff. He is patient, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and safety oriented. It was just the three of us, but amazingly we had great conversation on the whole trip. We had lunch at a spot with the lake as a backdrop. Jeff’s knowledge base is incredible. He gave us insight into the history of the area, land management, geologic features, water conservation, and much, much more. Thank you!!

Had a great tour with David. Very knowledgable and willing to share a lot of insight into the area. Highly recommend using him as a tour guide.
