Great Ocean Road morning at 12 Apostles scenic Melbourne Day Tour

We exit the city early to journey through Australian farming countryside going directly to the 12 Apostles National Park sites first, allowing us to explore this incredible region before the afternoon crowds arrive... a little more serenity perhaps? We take a break along the way to teach you the Great Ocean Road's heartfelt history with traditional Anzac biscuits & morning juice on us. You can also purchase a barista coffee or tea at the cafe just the way you like it with a snack if you wish.

View from the top, or be rewarded for conquering the grand sea cliff steps with an unforgettable feeling at the shoreline. (Note if this is closed for access due to conditions we will visit the Thunder Cave instead later)

Be mesmerized by the alluring '12 Apostles' rock formations - the drawcard of this National Park wonderland that you've come to see in the morning light with less visitors around. Maybe spot echidna scurrying near the paths for ants, or wallabies peeking their heads up in the bush.

After you've been walking the gems of the National Park all morning, we stop to re-fill the tank with a hearty lunch at Port Campbell town & foreshore, perhaps fish 'n chips on the beach or a pub overlooking the glimmering bay - you choose how you'd like to enjoy.

Sit back after lunch to journey under the canopy of giant Mountain Ash gum trees & ferns, or Beech & Blackwood forests to continue along the famous Great Ocean Road as the scenery changes from the coastline.

Step inside an ancient rainforest for a moment to feel like you're in another world in this cool-temperate pocket of the Great Otway's National Park. Keep your eye's up to maybe spot cute Koala at the carpark as a bonus.

Our Great Ocean Road journey is completed as we now return to Melbourne with whole hearts & wide smiles, forever grateful, arriving around 7pm to commence the hotel drops.
