My sisters and I took the walking tour of Greenwich Village on Saturday 10/26/19. What a great night! We had our guide C all to ourselves and couldn’t be happier. A gifted storyteller. C kept us enthralled with haunted tales of ghosts, murder, and mayhem. The history was interesting and well researched, and the sites were a great mix of intrigue and creepy. C conveyed each story in such a compelling way that we were often moved, the two hours were over much too quickly. We were given the rare opportunity to see our city through new eyes. My sisters and I highly recommend this tour and would do it again in New York minute!

This October Saturday night was dark and chilly, so the scene was set nicely to begin our Greenwich Village Walking Tour from under the lamp on the NW corner gates to Washington Square Park. What an awesome trek through the streets and back lanes of the Village as our guide told the stories of the darker history and eerie events of the past, pausing at specific spots of interest and showing photographs to build perspective into the narrative. Captivating stories of murder, misadventure and inexplicable happenings rolled into a thrilling trip through history makes for a great evening of thought provoking entertainment. Bring an open mind and be prepared to leave with one or two spooky thoughts. Highly Recommended. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this tour. You meet at Washington Square Park which is always fun to visit. The guide Ellen was great. The guide has photos of some of the sites which is passed around with the group. Some of the stories you've heard before which makes it even more interesting. Ellen gave us a paper with all the stories she discussed so you got to go home and read more about them. It really gives you an appetite to read about NYC in the old days. Also liked discovering different neighborhoods on the tour. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it.

Sadly the guide (Steve) lacked any storytelling ability or interest in making the ghost part of the tour seem remotely plausible, let alone scary or thrilling. The tour itself is solid. But the degree to which such a thing is entertaining is entirely about the guide, especially in 90 degree heat and high humidity. So my 3 college age children, who know much less about the Village than I do, were more bored than they should have been.

Wow! This is a must do if you are staying in NYC. Meghan was so engaging and her story telling was fascinating. My partner and I were totally engrossed for the whole two hours despite being cold. Definitely recommend if you're into spooky stories and having a good laugh! Meghan, let's be best friends please!!

Our guide Meghan was superb . Full of energy & fun as she regaled is with interesting stories and snippets of history around some of the buildings on this 2hr waking tour . We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later during day time to walk the same route again .

I whole heartedly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the subject. This is actually my second time taking the Greenwich Village Tour. My first time taking this tour, I was just so impressed with all the information and knowledge our guide had that I began searching for a similar tour in a different neighborhood and ended up going with a different company. BIG MISTAKE! If you are going to do a tour of this nature, it has to be with Ghosts, Murders & Mayhem. No one else has the knowledge or the enthusiasm for this particular subject. Recently, I had a friend visiting and she had wanted to take a halloweenish tour and I immediately thought of Ghosts, Murders & Mayhem. This time around we were very lucky to have had Elisa, the founder of the tour, showing us around. I spent 70% of the tour with goosebumps along my arms and the remaining 30% looking over my shoulder hoping to catch something, anything. Elisa was so prepared. She even gave us a list of her sources, the timelines of each incident she spoke about - you could just tell she knew what she's talking about. Sincerely, this tour is a MUST for those of you who are interested in the paranormal, murders in New York or just general mayhem.
