To join the tour, you must check in with your guide at the Astronomers Monument on the front lawn. Staff members at the observatory will not be able to assist you with the tour. After the guided tour, you are free to continue exploring the building and even visit the telescope once night falls. To see a planetarium show, you can buy tickets in person. Your guide will show you how. They're $10 for adults and $6 for kids ages 5-12 (under 5 not allowed in the theater).
