From there, enjoy an entertaining and historic tour through downtown Skagway then drive along nine miles of stunning coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, you will transfer into our customized Unimog—an all-wheel drive vehicle necessary for getting up our rugged mountain road. My 11 y/o son and I had the best day! The drive from port with our super friendly and knowledgeable driver (Jenna) was a great start to a fantastic day. The excursion scenery was stunning, the drive up to Basecamp was an adventure and Our guides, Anna and Tessa, were so friendly and fun I forgot I was afraid of heights! Highly recommend!

We had a really nice time ziplining with Alaska Excursions. We’ve done a few zip lines in vacations and hire enjoyed this one. Bus ride out to the mountain was good and informative (Shawn was our driver). The truck up the hill was a unique way to get up. And the guides for the several lines back down were very fun and personable (Tyler and Zack). The runs weren’t long but there were plenty and the guides taught us how to spin and go upside down and dance while zipping. And the scenery was lovely. Had a great time and would highly recommend.

Our group consisted of my husband, my 21-year-old son, and myself. We had a great time! Every aspect of the trip was excellent. The bus driver was funny as she shared stories about Skagway. Our ziplining tour guides, Poo and Zack were engaged, eager to help, and genuinely seemed to care about the guests. You could tell they thoroughly enjoyed their jobs and made sure we had fun as well. The (hog/mog)? driver was also kind and fun to talk to. Would recommend. The area was beautiful!

Terrific experience. The site was great with several different lines and bridges in an absolutely surreal setting of Spuce trees and mosses surrounding a running creek of glacial runoff. The guides were excellent...Isabelle and Shane made our first-timers feel absolutely safe and helped them push their boundaries a bit as we worked through the course. Patrick was an awesome guide during the bus trip to the experience area. Exceeded expectations.

First if all, we are not sure how to exactly explain just how much fun and attentiveness we were given due to the extreme professionalism and passion from such an awesome team. We can not describe in words our gratitude for the once in a life time experience. Every single person we encountered from the pick up to the zipline (You girls are such rock stars) to the narrative about the gold rush and Skagway. (Thanks so much Max. You have definitely found your calling.) The entire operation at Grizzly Zipline Expedition was so beyond awesome. However, we are unsure how to sum it up, but Thank you. To all involved for a most amazing, wonderful, one of a kind adventure we will never soon forget.

I'm terrified of heights but this was probably my favorite Alaska excursion! The guides were really nice and great about safety. They put me totally at ease. Plenty of beautiful views and time for photos, but the wait between turns was never too long. Definitely great for any age group.

Amazing fun zip line experience. The staff was super helpful and fun while traversing the zip line and rope bridge experience. Totally recommend for anyone brave enough.

The good: Staff is EXCELLENT. View is gorgeous. The bad: We have been on ziplines all over the world. These were the shortest we've been on as a group. Glad we did it once.

Great excursion!! Easy and fun for all ages! The crew was fantastic! The ride to the base camp was informative and beautiful! The crew was fun, and professional! We gelt safe at all times! Highly recommend this!

Zip lining was fun and the guides were great. The only comment is that the runs were short and not outstanding views. We enjoyed it, but I’ve been on more invigorating zip lining experiences.
