Harald provided Doreen and i with a comprehensive explanation of the historical sites we visited. His broad knowledge gave us an excellent perspective of what has taken place in Berlin. His friendly nature made us feel very welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending Harald.

We thoroughly enjoyed Harald, our private guide for this tour. He integrated public memorials/historic displays as well his own collection of historic photographs to tell the story of Berlin's iconic monuments over the years. I found his photographs to be incredibly helpful to visualize former versions of the city and its buildings. My 17 yo son is a WWII buff and Harald engaged him in very intelligent and thoughtful conversations along our tour. Highly informative, professional and personable!

My husband and I contacted Harald based on our son's recommendation and we were very pleased! We met Harald at a pre-arranged site and walked and toured with him for 4 hours! The tour encompassed all of the major historical sites of the city from the perspective of a local. It was a great way to get an overview and yet left much for us to explore on our own the next day. We highly recommend Harald.
