It's so great to meet a true local like Lucie to learn about a city and taste the local food specialties. She gave us a tour filled with local history and relaxed time to savor the wonderful foods. We got a full meal, snacks, tastes, dessert, a taste of wine and beer, and coffee and pastry to finish the day. Highly recommended!

This tour takes you to many varied places to taste a diversity of foods and wines in Strasbourg. Our wonderful guide Raphael patiently explained the various foods and wines that locals enjoy and took us inside many different buildings as well as a tour of some main sites of the city. We learned background information and really enjoyed tasting all the different foods. I really recommend this tour.

This tour was outstanding from the quality of the food we sampled to the expert information provided by our very knowledgeable guide Loubna. We would certainly do this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Strasbourg. We sampled local sausages, cheeses and sweets, wine and beer. Lunch is provided on the tour and it is a large portion with a choice of meat or vegetarian option. I would suggest you don’t have a big breakfast before going on the tour to ensure you have plenty of room to sample all the delightful options. The sausage and cheese shops we visited also vaccum packaged purchases which made for easy transport of items back to the UK.

Loubna lead us through the streets of Strasbourg, interweaving tastes of local foods, beer and wine with unique stories of the history of the town. The pace of the tour is very pleasant and there is more than enough food to count this as a meal for the day. We finished with a good understanding of the local produce of the Alsace and a lovely link with a true local. Loubna left us with many recommendations for follow up activities and food experiences we might try. If only we had another week!

I had a great time on the Strasbourg Food Tour. Christine was our guide and gave us an afternoon to remember. We started out with charcuterie, wine and beer. I knew that I like Alsace wines, but I didn't know much about beer and enjoyed it very much. I believe cheese was next (I learned that Munster originated in the region), followed by a full lunch of local ham, sausage, sauerkraut and wine (other options were provided). We finished with a sweet tarte flambées for desert. As we traveled between the different regions of the city Christine explained some of the history and traditions of the area.
