Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco

In the first part of the tour you will have the opportunity to take a relaxing walk, discovering the infinite shades of white that characterize the salt, not to mention the blue of the sea, the gray clay and the pink of the tanks. This route follows the perimeter of the salt pan until it reaches the banks of the salt pans where the water acts as a mirror to the sky. Through this tour, the Culcasi salt pans offer an experience suitable for all age groups within the WWF reserve, among protected plants and birds, so you can see the salt that forms in the tanks by collecting it with your hands and following step by step the entire process that transforms sea water into salt that everyone knows.

We visited this museum on Tuesday, the 26th of September 2023. It was very interesting. The young lady who was our guide said she is the granddaughter of the owner. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided a very interesting explanation of the history and process of salt, making at Trapani.it is well worth a visit and good value.

Beautiful setting and a lot of history on salt making. We did it in the morning but I recommend doing in at sunset and than dining at the adjacent restaurant. We even saw a couple of flamingos flying in the sky. Recommend

The visit to the Salt museum was amazing. The museum is very small, but the guides are fantastic and make the visit worth it. Do yourself a favour, and go and visit.

We visited the salt museum. To welcome us and explain the secrets of this ancient art we found Irene, a splendid girl who, with her preparation, patience and vitality, gave us a splendid experience. Highly recommended!!!

One of the prettiest things in Sicily. Both the Museum and the Saline are very interesting. But what is noteworthy is the explanation (also of the salt pans) but above all of the museum; the person who told us about LE SALINE seemed like a thespian, in addition to the interest he aroused, he had a very funny and engaging way of explaining things which fascinated us all. I highly recommend it!!!!!!!! And congratulations to the guy who explained everything to us.........

As a first part we visited the salt pans but without explanation you lose a lot, consequently we went to the Salt Museum and it was a wonderful experience! Mr. Culcasi's nephew transmits really well and is a great entertainer. It will make you fully experience what the work was to obtain the salt... seeing is believing

Eine nette und Informative Führung. Durch die Information bekommt das Gelände viel mehr Bedeutung und versteht man wie die Salzgewinnung früher und jetzt gemacht wird.

A truly interesting tour to discover salt extraction. The girls who accompanied us inside the salt pans and the museum were really prepared and kind. My children were also interested.

Having the entire afternoon available, we were guided by two very competent and engaging girls, who never let us get bored. The guided tour (1h30) includes a short walk through the salt pans and entrance to the salt museum, small but well-developed. Absolutely recommended!
