This was probably the best guided tour that I have attended. We got to explore some less known lookouts and places in the Blue Mountains, away from the crowds and very touristic places. It was an excellent mixture of walks and lookouts together with an expert guide to the local flora, birds and the geography of the visited places. As a plant scientist and amateur birdwatcher, I leaned so much from Dan, and am looking forward to our next trip!

If you’re looking for the best small group tour this is it. We received personalized treatment right from the start. Our tour guide, Dan shared his passion for nature with our small group. He is super knowledgeable about Blue Mountains National Park and its flora and fauna especially the different varieties of eucalyptus and birds. This tour actually takes you into the National Park where many of the other tours do not. We stayed away from the crowds and were able to experience all the same sights from a quiet, and we think, better perspective. Including sights like the Three Sisters, Anvil Rock, Lincoln’s Rock and Mount Blackheath lookout. With a stop in Katoomba for a short visit and lunch. As a bonus, Dan is also a photographer and provides many high quality photos of your group after the tour. Dan is the best tour guide I’ve ever had EVER! Don’t miss out, this is a “must do” tour.

Had a amazing time on this tour. Dan was an amazing guide and had a plethora of information to dish out during the trip. My tour was bilingual, English and Korean, and felt there was an even balance of information and instruction given in both languages. We hit so many great and beautiful spots, plus one extra stop at the end. Because of our early start time (30min earlier than i saw the other large group tours) we were able to avoid almost all groups of other tourists. The one spot where we ran into other tourists Dan directed us to a secluded/hidden area for photos and shade. Definitely take sunscreen, hat, lots water, and coverup/jacket. I was a crispy potato chip at the end but it was my own fault. The biggest bonus is Dan takes photos for you during the trip at all the stops. So not only will you have your personal photos but also photos from a professional grade camera! Super handy when you're solo. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

Dan is a wonderful person and an excellent guide - warm and personable, he really felt like a friend. He is also very accommodating in terms of making modifications related to experience. Having Dan as a NSW park Eco Pass tour guide, was a terrific way to have a safe and rewarding experience. He carries a set of benefit, from my own education and experience to supporting the local economy. The walking experience was awesome, with many different stages throughout the day. The area was off the main tourist track and that made the tour a more local experience. If you like exploring the Australian bush with a knowledgeable guide, then this is the best value for money that you will get. Thank you for a wonderful day out walking in the Blue Mountains National Park Dan! I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone as a great day away from the city or to anyone who wants to get a first impression of what the Blue Mountains are all about!

My husband and I went on the Grand Canyon tour, and we had a great time! Dan is a very friendly guide, and we appreciated the small size tour. It allowed us to hear everything Dan was educating us on, and it made for a much better experience interacting with others on the tour. When researching Blue Mountain tours, so many were big bus tours that consisted of a good amount of time on the bus. We enjoy being outside and active, and this tour fit exactly what we were looking for!! We got in a good amount of hiking during the tour. The tour also stopped at amazing locations that you would not see on most of the other tours. Thank you Dan for offering such a great experience to truly see the Blue Mountains inside and out! Dan was a great guide during the tour. He has a lot of knowledge and was always excited to answer any questions we had. What sets him apart from the others is his passion and enthusiasm for the area. In addition to educating those on the tour, he would take notes of things we saw so that he could research afterwards. Dan also brought his camera to take photos during the tour so that we could be fully immersed in the experience and not focused on taking photos. We were also lucky to see some great wildlife on the tour! Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend Hikeandseek NSW.

Went for the blue mountain day tour. It was one of the best guided tours I've been on in any countries - and I've been on many! Few things I really appreciated: - Dan really knows where to take you and when. Although there are many tour groups for Blue mountains, our group avoided other groups most of the time. This helps to really enjoy the beauty of the nature so much better. - He knows about the mountain and the park very well. You can tell how passionate he is about preserving the nature, he knows a lot about the trees, birds, flowers etc. He will teach you a lot about it throughout the day. -He is a great photographer, and he will take amazing pictures of you/your family/your couple throughout the day if this is something you like. (He wont bother you if you don't want pictures). He will send you an edited version by the day after. I like all of the pictures that he took! Better than what I took hands down. -Some guided tours try to sell something to you, either from their own business or from a partenreing business. There is nothing like that in this tour. Even for lunch, he gives you recommendations of nice places to visit, and he lets you pick. The tour really is all about having a great day , seeing the nature and beautiful scenery. Few questions I had before the tour : Blue mountain tour is not very demanding in terms of hiking. You would walk about 10000 steps at the end of the day, but wear good shoes(any type of runners would be fine). The group is about 7-8 people. You do not have to purchase separate national park entrance fee, it's all included. All in all, very happy that I got to see blue mountains, and also happy that I chose this tour specifically for it. Strongly recommended.

We really enjoyed our tour and especially our guide Dan. He took us to several places within the Blue Mountains where there were no other tourists and there was plenty of time to soak in the beauty. He also shared detailed information about the area including flora, birds and conservation. I highly would recommend this tour to people who like unique experiences and are up for walking to areas on trails that are off the beaten path. Thank you so much Dan

This tour was absolutely beautiful! Dan really knows the best hidden spots to go to -- it felt like everywhere we went was gorgeous and almost empty of other tourists. Definitely recommend!

My experience on the Northern Blue Mountain tour was absolutely incredible. Dan was not only kind and friendly but also an amazing photographer. The hiking was enjoyable, and Dan's extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and bird species made the journey even more fascinating. I left the tour with a deeper appreciation for nature and a collection of breathtaking photographs.
