Fascinating tour of the buildings, people, and events of downtown Portland. Damon provided insight into things that we would have never known without his interesting commentary. Easy 2.5 hour walk through the city blocks. We are very grateful for the experience.

We loved our tour with Otneil. He was enthusiastic and had funny anecdotes which kept the tour enjoyable, but most important to us he painted the birth of Portland in the context of historical events we knew - the Gold Rush, Lewis and Clark's expedition, etc. After exploring downtown with him we felt like we had really gotten a sense of that part of the City.

The tour, and Matt’s commentary, altered my original perception of Portland; very much for the better. His explanations gave a lot of background to the city’s history, and apparent condition. Matt was also great company for spending a morning walking around the city.
