    The towns and attractions on this tour were incredible, but when doing a tour that has so much historical significance, the tour guide has to be engaged and enthusiastic...ours was neither, except for one spot on the tour when we visited the main cathedral in Guimaraes; at this spot she opened up and told us significant facts about the cathedral, whereas every place else she basically told us nothing more than to look around and where to meet her when we were done. So, my comment is I found the towns of Braga and Guimaraes beyond beautiful and well worth the cost. I would return and do the tour again, but next time I would go with the knowledge of the history and significance of each place beforehand as a safeguard against a poor tour guide.

    It was so nice to take a small bus tour. In the future I will always hire small bus. The castle in Guimares was do impressive after all these years but Bom Jesus was my favorite stop.

    Alvorn was a great guide for our small group. Luxury transportation and water provided. Perfect logistics for a full day with a balance between touring and free time. Lunch and treats provided along the way. I was amazed at his ability to switch between English and Spanish.

    The guide, José, was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of insight into the history. The lunch provided by the tour was also very good. I especially liked the history of Guimarães.

    Our tour guide is very friendly and attentive to our needs. The trip itself is well prepared and the lunch at Braga was also nice. Highly recommended!
