    A thorough history of the Ghetto, and the food was great. My wife needed to miss the tour due to a health issue; Vanessa went above and beyond in helping, by including unscheduled pharmacy stops and by providing for samples I could bring back to my wife. Her care and support were/are much appreciated.

    Over all I had an excellent experience. The food we had was awesome, the choses were things I dont think I’d have tried other wise. This tour also had an historical element. Doing a deeper dive into the history of the Jewish ghettos truly enriched my understanding of Venice. Would totally recommend!!!

    Such a great tour. Vanessa was the best, she is so knowledgable about the history of the ghetto. She speaks without a script, just sharing what she has learned through her studies. There is also plenty of great food and wine so come hungry. Vanessa also helped us with other information about Venice, we really appreciated the opportunity to talk with her.

    Vanessa was an amazing guide and we were so lucky to have her all to ourselves. This is a fascinating tour of the Jewish Ghetto and Cannaregio area with wonderful food! Vanessa is very well informed and answered all of our questions. It is an emotional place to visit and we learned a great deal about the area. The last stop for gelato quickly became our favorite gelato place in Venice!

    Explore one of Venice’s most famous and charming areas, taste its traditional flavors, enjoy art and history all led by a local and expert guide. Meet your guide at Venice's Cannaregio district and start you evening discovering all the facts and hidden gems of this charming neighborhood, rich of culture and food traditions known worldwide.

    Ghetto Ebraico

    Visit several authentic restaurants and delis. Embark on the Jewish ghetto and taste traditional Jewish-Venetian. Learn about traditional dishes and specialties from your knowledgeable local guide while stroll the Cannaregio area which is rich of canals with cute bridges and spectacularly ancient churches. See the Rabbi’s house along with the historic synagogues of Venice while you walk from one stop to another.
