The tour was an interesting adventure of a very special place, the Coorong. Our tour guide Alex was excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful. A little slipperry getting in the water but that was part of the adventure. I have never seen the mouth of the murray and Alex explained to us that the Coorong is at risk of salinity because of low flow from the murray. I really appreciated the explanations Alex drew in the sand as it is difficult to visualise how water currents, Murray flow and tidal movements affects not only the coastal dunes and sand movements but the entire ecosystem of the Coorong. I found it interesting that the Mouth of the Murray can move 50m in a year. Amazing part of South Australia. My favourite part was watching the Pelicans fly. Thanks Alex.

Good outing. Need basic fitness as you could be kayaking against the tide and into some waves. Spotted some seals. Caught pelicans and other birds hunting for fish. Explored some locations with rich history. Great tour guide. Beautiful road to drive back home.

We did the Sunset tour- James led us across the Muray mouth (at a safe distance) in our kayaks to Younghusband peninsula that can only be reached by boat. We explored the vegetation for native juniper berries and walked on to the shore of the Murray mouth, returning to a picnic of local cheese, wine, fruit a day homemade goodies. Highly recommended!!

Sunset 3 hour tour. Brilliant kayaking experience. Kayaking on the Coorong with backdrop of the raging southern ocean over the dunes and a spectacular sunset silhouetting the horizon. Alex our tour guide displayed confident water skills also imparting his developing knowledge of bird life and local vegetation relating to its uses by first Australians. An extensive spread of local wines, cheeses, fruit platter and authentic Aussie cookies were provided mid tour. A truly Australian estuary and coastal experience with excellent tour guide Alex. Thank you.

Amazing tour, although I live in Goolwa and have fished the Coorong multiple times the tour was excellent and gave me a totally perspective of the Coorong and the delicate eco system.

The best decision I have made recently. I have been in Adelaide on business for a couple of weeks and wanted something to do on the weekend. The event was well organised and the guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. It was a most educational tour, the food was great, especially the cakes and biscuits.

Highly recommend this tour to experience the Coorong from the water. An easy paddle and fresh, delicious food provided. Our guide Oscar was very knowledgable and we were able to sample local bush tucker.

Excellent day - highlight of the school holidays. Beautiful scenery, wildlife (birds, seals), bush tucker foraging, digging for cockles. Lots of fun. Excellent guide. Thanks!

We had the best day in Coorong with Brenton and Alex. From the get go everything was clear and organised. They showed us the best spots of Coorong and we got to see heaps of different birds and plants. They provided delicious snacks and lunch as well. Would definitely recommend.

In our blitz tour of Australia we could spend only one day in Goolwa and Coorong National Park. We were going back and forth between choosing a boat trip or kayaking. We were a bit unsure about our physical abilities of kayaking for six hours and then, you know, this eternal question of bathrooms for folks like us in our late 60s. Funny, weather conditions didn't bother us since we were making reservations from Colorado and had a perfect image of Australia being always hot and sunny. Adelaide met us with invigorating 61 F (=16 C) and rain, Kangaroo Island was even colder. The closer we were getting to Goolwa, the more doubtful we were about the kayaking perspective. And then finally on Nov 30 we met our guide Tom, and all our fears melted away. Tom was patient, kind and absolutely unpretentious, the whole world gets brighter around Tom. The sun came out, the wind calmed down, Tom guided our group of three through the Coorong waters with the confidence of Moses leading his people. Not a single second we felt unsafe, uncomfortable or unloved. In six hours we gained a week's worth of Coorong knowledge. We also got a very new important skill - harvesting Goolwa pipis (small clams) by dancing in the ocean. Thank you Tom!
