We were supposed to be on an animal tour, but because it was raining, we went and looked at some of the sites of grand Teton. Our guide was not very attentive to the group in regards to making sure everyone was safe. I was on another tour with the sister company of this group and the guide was the last person After everyone got off the van to make sure that everyone knew what was happening that they were in areas that were safe. This guy didn’t do that. He didn’t provide safe instructions about where we should get access to one of the Lake beaches and I ended up getting very hurt with a concussion and a broken finger and a sprained hand. My daughter felt that he didn’t have all the equipment he needed for an emergency situation. And seem to not know what to do in a crisis. I was finally taken to an urgent care and we missed half the tour. considering how much we loved the day prior in Yellowstone with the sister company we were very surprised with the difference in the two companies.

We had Grant who was a thoroughly knowledgeable guide. He did his very best to find us wildlife and the wildlife just didn’t cooperate. He mentioned numerous times that morning yielded good animal sightings. We went back out on our own and found a couple bull moose on the river which he said we likely would. Might be worth considering only offering morning tours if the animal watching is that much better.
Also worth noting is the snacks were some of the best we’ve had in a tour. Really thoughtful and well rounded. And I accidentally left my phone in the van at the end of the tour and both the office and Grant were super responsive and nice about my whoopsie. Definitely recommend this tour company.

Irwin led an amazing tour, the vehicle was spotless with lots of snacks and beverages plus binoculars for each of us. The trip felt really personalized and special!

The guide was very knowledgeable. The tour was really great as we got to see moose, elk, bison, etc. It truly was a great experience.

This was such a great experience. Our tour guide, Jordan, was fantastic. We were able to spot fox, bison, birds, American Pronghorn and even a moose. Jordan also provided history of the region along the way. We highly recommend.

Pickup
Check if pick-up is available from your location, you will select during checkout (providers may allow other pickup locations)
All guests are picked up and returned to their place of lodging. We pick up at hotels, condos and private residences in Jackson and Teton Village. Your exact pick up time will be determined by your hotel location. Make sure you notify us of your lodging location at the time of booking. The Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris office will notify you of your exact pickup time prior to your departure. Please be waiting and read in the lobby and please allow your guide 5-10 minutes to arrive.
If you request a hotel pickup outside of the town of Jackson or Teton Village, we will contact you, prior to approving your reservation, with options regarding your tour, which may include a pickup at the Home Ranch Lot or the Stilson Parking Lot, for example. Please review your hotel location before making a request outside of our pickup areas. We recommend booking a private tour if you are unable to meet us for a pickup in the town of Jackson or Teton Village.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)

For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.
