This was a must see! We got to see a monk seal which is a rare sighting. The water was beautiful and the colorful fish inside the reef was amazing to see up close. Cannot forget the beautiful sea turtles and our wonderful guide. My daughter is a strong swimmer and I am not but she was able to pull me all around the reef with ease and still guide the others in the group. She was extremely sweet and made everyone feel comfortable. I would come back and do this tour over and over with her.

Not recommend if this is not your first time snorkeling. Honestly, we mostly booked the tour because we wanted a guaranteed way to get into Hanauma Bay. The “tour” part of this was completely unnecessary and took away from my experience. We had to stay together as a group the whole time so instead of looking at the fish, I was busy looking for the guide. She was moving around way too much for me, when all I wanted was to just float and look at the fish. Also, the other people in our group were complete beginners and kept stopping at random places that weren’t safe to do so. It was brutal watching them destroy so many coral reefs by stepping on and kicking them. If I ever do another one of these “tours”, I will make sure to not stay with the group since that just ruins the experience.

If you’re looking to just show up and have a quick snorkel excursion, this is an excellent option. This is an awesome way to avoid trying to obtain a difficult reservation online, but also bypass the other people waiting in line at the entrance! Fumio keeps a small 5 person group and provides pickup and dropoff service around Waikiki. It’s also nice that she provides the equipment and a mat or locked group cargo case to store your things. While snorkeling, she also leads us to different areas around the bay! We were able to see a lot of fish species; it was about 1.5 hours of snorkeling time. Fumio also takes a lot of videos and pictures and shares them with you later on. We did the 6:30am and we definitely had a great, fun time!

Fumio is very experienced and supplies everything so you can just show up and snorkel, but the best part is that she takes SO many photos and videos and shares them with you! I can’t wait to look through them all.

My family enjoyed our snorkeling outing with Fumio. My two 10 year old kiddos had no previous snorkeling experience. Fumio was very generous helping my kids with their gear. She led across the bay, pointing out schools of fish. One in our tour saw a sea turtle. I really appreciated the underwater videos and pictures that Fumio took which allowed me to focus on snorkeling. She even posed us for a few memorable shots.

The tour guide was perfectly on time, she kept her communication well.. She was a great tour guide, she kept us entertained and did a great job showing us around the bay.. I thought we were going to be dropped off at the bay and will be on our own.. but she went in the water with us, and took us around the bay snorkeling with us, taking videos and pictures… it was better than I had expected. The snorkeling was perfect, she provided everything we needed to snorkel, I felt safe the whole time.. and the memories will last forever, with her pictures and videos!!!

It was very chilly the morning we went snorkeling, but I wore a wet suit and it kept me warm and I didn’t have to worry about getting scraped on the coral! I would recommend wearing a wet suit, and I really enjoyed seeing all the different species of fish!

The snorkeling was as fun. Good equipment, knowledgeable guide. She got us out to where we saw sea turtles! So many amazing fish & having pictures and videos included in the price is a definite perk! I liked being in a small group as well.

Excellent guide for the snorkel tour of the marine sanctuary. We went out farther and caught sight of a young sea turtle. Good instruction on snorkel basics. I would say to get the best out of the experience be a decent confident swimmer.
