Awesome ghost trolley tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area and the history. His story telling was interesting and informative. The cemetery tour was amazing. He had his EMF handy and I had mine and we compared experiences with with them as we went along. We both had great responses on them, but he impressed with mine. One of my friends took photos that had shadows unlike any other photos. If you don't have an open mind, don't go or don't make rude comments. It was a fascinating experience and I will definitely do this again.

The only thing that makes this a ghost tour is the fact that 15 minutes into it you wish you were dead and could do ANYTHING other than be there! First, let me preface this by saying that neither I nor my husband are into supernatural phenomenon. We were not at all going to be interested in orbs, spectral photography, or EMF detectors. If you are already into that, perhaps you will get something out of this. Having said that, we do love history, especially if it has a strange or macabre twist. Sadly, you won't get any of that on this tour either. We started in the parking lot of Bobber's Island Grill where we sat for 15 minutes listening to the guide/driver (Brian, I think), prattle on about his personal life (which was not at all interesting), and then finally tell us a very disjointed story about a ghost girl and a freak car accident that supposedly took place outside the bar at some vague time in the past. It made no sense and I suspect it was actually just another personal tale about a girl who ditched him on a date that he turned into a ghost story. (Trust me, after hearing this guy's story telling over two hours, you will believe the same.) And I use the term "story telling" very loosely. At times it was like the ramblings of a madman on a sugar high. I swear, the owners of the tour company found this guy sitting at the end of the bar in some dive telling bad stories to anyone who would listen and said, "This is our guy!" Even the stories that might have been interesting were plagued with odd details (like he was making stuff up as he was going along) and lacked any kind of structure that might make them believable. Worse than that, several contained flat out lies. For instance, we were made to believe that a woman named Madge Stanton, the adult (but youngish) daughter of the former owners of the Showboat Saloon, was found hung by the neck in a room above the bar. Her death was reportedly very suspicious, and the new owners went out of their way to "cover up" this suspected murder. The problem with this story is that it is a matter of public record that the daughter of the previous owners of the Showboat Saloon, Madeline "Madge" L. Stanton, lived to the ripe old age of 83 where she died after a long illness at St. Claire's Hospital in Baraboo. (Her obituary is printed in the Wisconsin State Journal, 21 Feb 1984.) Word to the wise, if you are going to make up a story, make sure it doesn't involve real people. No wonder the new owners were trying to cover up the story. It actually never happened! Between tasteless comments about people from other states, suicide, and tragic accidents, bad stories about his ex-wife, and off-color comments about a myriad of other topics, we were ready to get off and walk, even if it meant being left in the middle of the cemetery at night in the cold. I've never seen a bus of people empty out so quickly as I did when we returned to the drop off point. The highlight of the night? My husband and I had a great story to tell people when we got back home. At least we could laugh about partaking in the World's Worst Ghost Tour ever! I don't advise paying $2 for this tour, let alone nearly $35/person. Keep your money and use it to buy a book about paranormal activity in the Dells. You'll learn way more and be far more entertained.

The biggest night of the year, was a let down. This being that one night,Halloween, should of gone down as a Spooktacular night! First of all, limit the distractions, make your tour an age over 13yrs old tour especially on Halloween. Kids should be out enjoying the evening, not on a trolley, amped up,over talking the tour guide and drowning out the information others want to hear. A toddler, should be at home ready for bed or school. Sorry, we paid top dollar for a tour and couldn't hear much at all. Control your kids please, we all have families as well. Go on a day tour, not out late especially on Halloween. Now this was my third time on this tour and preciously had Kevin as a tour guide, but tonight we had Brian. This tour had a little different route and only had one off the trolley stop instead of three times. I know routes can change and the same with off the trolley locations. We drove past a few locations that are apparently haunted, but nothing was even mentioned. What about the Brat House, the lower part of the dam and the figure seen there, Mojo Music and the Piano, the shadows seen in the cemetery as well as a few suicide and bodies found throughout the area. Some locations change owners and tours are not welcomed, which is understandable. Tell the story and show us to keep the legend alive! Fogged up windows are nothing to worry about, just wipe your own window, we have lots of people breathing on the trolley. Also, lets talk about equipment, know your equipment and axis. What direction is it reading? Was that a K2? Explain things and with rods, establish that yes or no response and don't assume. It doesn't work for everyone! (Crossed signals.) I am glad to see and hear at times, the speaker system improvement. Go hands free and it will be outstanding. Get yourself a driver, focus on the tour, not route, and it will be extremely different. Everyone had a ok time, but the third time wasn't a charm! Redemption for next Halloween!!!!

Dumb....basically a ride through parking lots. Trolly had fogged up windows so even if you wanted to peer at the locations from accross the lot, you couldn't see anyway.

Brian was a great tour guide! We had an awesome time seeing the sights. Good times were had by all.

This tour was very boring and uninteresting. It is not scary and does not have anything that would make you think "haunted". When you look at the pricing online it said $19.99 but when you go to book it is $28.99 and ends up at $34.86 with fees added. After loading at Bobbers you drive to the other end of the parking lot and sit for 15 minutes while a "haunting" story is told. You then drive across town to a Brat House restaurant where another "haunting" story is told, drive a little further and then stop at another restaurant where once again a "haunting" story is told. I use the word haunting loosely. You do enter the cemetery in the dark and I thought maybe it might get interesting., but another couple of lackluster stories, we were then told to get out and wander around the gravesites. Keep in mind that it was dark and no lights were offered, we used our cellphone flashlights to try and stumble around to see. The driver never got off the trolley and there were some type of orb finders offered, not sure how to use them? Also, seated near the back it the exhaust smell was very strong. It was not at all as expected. After the un- exciting trip to the cemetery we then drove back to Bobbers. Do yourself a huge favor and save your money by not attending.

Awesome tour and informative driver ( Brian). Never have a boring moment and lively music along the way.

Although our tour guide was pleasant, he wasn't professional. He was easily distracted, didn't finish his thoughts, kept repeating himself, dropped us off at a cemetery (with minimal to no guidance)-wasted time and made more jokes and silly comments instead of remaining themed, focused and informative. He was not enjoyable and his kid running up and down the isles with an Emf or Evp meter was a huge example of non parenting and lastly...I wish I had my money back and those two hours of my life. Just BAD
