Amazing ghost tour! We had your guide Mike and he was nothing short of excellent! He shows you the house from a new perspective. He was the best tour guide we have had and highly recommend him. You go into the dungeon and see the house. Great tour!

We went on this tour on June 11 with Mike and he was fantastic! Very enjoyable tour and I highly recommend!!! Can't say enough great things about the tour

Was really looking forward to a great experience but the guide tended to drown on and about his personal life. No offense but I wanted to know about the children and the head mistress not his education and ex wife experiences. I felt like he was making up most the stories. Would not go again.

Mike was awesome! He explained what post war was like for the women and children left behind. Through story telling he really made it easy to understand what life was like back in 1863. He does a fantastic job embracing and embodying “creepy”. AMAZING!!

Mike was an amazing tour guide. The way he presents himself helped a lot with understanding the stories. He kept everyone engaged and encouraged everyone to partake. The entire tour was incredible.

Mike did a great job. Spooky and funny and very talented. Got the story across of the life of these children..and the aftermath of the battle for the women and children left behind

Tom was our guide for this tour. He did a wonderful job telling the history of the house and those who lived in it. Each room we visited had it's own story, some good, some bad and some downright sad. Be ready for the lights to go out and feel the darkness that some of the children had to endure. You can almost hear the laughter of little children playing in the back yard and yet the deafening silence of the "pit". Book this tour for still more interesting information.

Had a great tour with Tom. Thank you sir for making it interesting even if we didn't encounter any ghosts - well maybe the ghosts of the 1980 Islanders! Wish you the best and hopefully we will see each other again, like you said, we know where you live.

Myself and family took haunted orphanage tour with guide Mike. Very into the acting and role, which I get, but I felt like I learned more about methods of execution and tetanus than I did about the orphanage. Taking photos meant it would almost always have other people in them which was a bummer, and I felt like the orphanage was more an exercise in theater and scares once we went downstairs than continuing history so the tour felt stunted. He’s an excellent performer and dedicated to his work, you’ll certainly enjoy him if you get him but I’m more boring and would have preferred a straightforward historical tour with less acting and preamble. Maybe he picked up on my feeling because I said my good nights to Mike I got a nod in return while my father exiting behind me was asked about his experience. Oh well.

Mike was our tour guide and he was so amazing. This tour was one of my favorite things we did during our visit because of him. I recommend this tour for everyone and if we ever come back to visit I would do it again. I learned details and things I’ve never even heard of and Mike did amazing at bringing those facts to life!
