Ally led us on an excellent tour sharing ghoulish tales of the local cemeteries and vaults. Her stories were an excellent blend of informative, chilling, and exciting, all wrapped up in a brand of dark humor that I resonate with. If I had more time on my trip here I’d certainly book another tour!

I wouldn’t say this was a really scary tour.. however 5.30 on a sunny and bright Saturday is probably not the right time to be terrified! The tour was really interesting, i knew we wanted to visit the Vaults so the Kirk Yard was an added bonus. The tour guide was informative and although the streets were quite noisy and group large we could hear all the information. The vaults were fascinating and a little creepy.. quite difficult to imagine living there! this is a really useful tour to understand Edinburghs history and geography and i would recommend. I even managed a spooky picture!

I booked this tour because I really wanted to see the vaults I have heard so many stories about, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great stories told in the graveyard as well. Our tour guide, was funny and played into the spooky nature of the tour just enough. The entrance to the vaults is a little disconcerting, but well worth getting to explore the hidden history of Edinburgh. I would recommend this tour to someone interested in the dark history of a complex city.

Ally did a wonderful job with the tour. We experienced hair pulling, cold payches, white mists and even camera malfunctions (wohldnt take photos and batteries drained.) it was an amazing time and an experience we'll never forget!! Thank you so much for the opportunity to tour the Vaults! 💀

Lots of facts but terrible tour guide, who was clearly just reciting a script with no enthusiasm, and barely any charisma. There where jokes, clearly in the script, but the delivery took all the fun out of it. The guide told us about the haunted vaults, whilst also saying he didn't believe any of the stories. Strange considering the tour was titled 'haunted vaults' save it took the magic away. He also added in some insults or mocking of the wiccans that used to reside in the vaults. We saw other tour groups having a much better time, and I really wish I had chosen another tour provider to go with.
